Dear Carol, it is so nice to hear from you! I am so glad that you like the Hebrew, and Freddy, and the videos! As I'm sure you'll know, Tom Pinch is a character from the novel "Martin Chuzzlewit" by Charles Dickens. The little picture of him is from my ancient copy of the novel. Very interesting video! Sandpaper on a violin? I thought that was a "no-no". Also, did "no school" mean you had no lessons that day? The Hebrew minute is from Jeremiah 31:25, not a very familiar passage to me--I had to look it up! Hi, Freddie! Keep up the good work and I'll send you some pictures!

Hi Cheryl, I have a question(s). Do all of the repairs on old violins influence how you make a new violin? What I mean is, do you make things in a certain way so that they might not need to be repaired in the future? Thank you for another in depth video.
@Violinsforu2
Жыл бұрын
Yes, in some way we do. Things like the sealer coat on the inside discourages bugs and just a little thicker around the edges holds off cracking a little longer. But if someone drops or sits on an instrument, there is not much we can do about it!!! Thanks for the great question! I hope you have a wonderful blessed week!
