Violin Adventures

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The neck went on the 1700's violin and it gets set up and played. Also, a little more carving on the pochette, along with edging on the cello. Hope you enjoy! Freddie has a little chat and there is also an Hebrew Minute. Enjoy!

It is a good sound. If only these instruments could talk, but then there would be no reason to search and research! Thank you for commenting and hope you have a great week!

The 1700's violin looks and sounds just wonderful...a real gem. Mr. Malone's furniture was a treat to see. Your cello looks just lovely! Stupidicus.

Wow, that 1700's violin sounds great and now it is looking great, too! The Hebrew Minute is from Psalm 3:8. Your weather looks good! We're expecting severe tornado weather the next few days. What a beautiful low boy! Thanks for another good video! Happy Easter--He is Risen Indeed! Have a great week!

The 1700s violin sounds amazing - you must be so pleased with it! I enjoyed the story of Signora Patti's antics. Well might you shake your head over them!. Mr. Malone's lowboy was extraordinary. Could he show us some more of his work do you think? God bless your coming week!

The 1700's violin sounds beautiful. It sounds deeper and fuller. Like a viola?

It is true, it has a deep rich tone similar to a viola, true, with a little something special added in. Thank you for commenting and hope you have a great week!

Does your mixed shellac ever go bad? I've heard opinions between 10 year old solution being just fine and others saying that anything older than 3 months needing to be discarded. Also, I think you need more hammers :)

Hi Cosmin! I like my shellac at 3 months. That is about the time I start using it, and the longer I let it sit in the lac flakes the better it gets. I don't think I have ever had it for 10 years because I use it up before then. Thanks for asking. Regarding the hammers, I have now outlawed any other hammer from my shop, so yes, only Cosmins hammers are allowed! Hope you have a great week!
