    Nice work! Love the way you described your mindset in the approach/workflow and final product. Watching this inspired me to try it out myself.

    That’s awesome! There are plenty of videos to watch but the best way to learn is to give it a try. Feel free to connect as you work through if you have questions.

    Hey, appreciate the feedback. That’s really cool to hear. Your camera angles on the bike are wild! Do you do any wrapping as well?

    @@TunersCanvas Thank you. Yes. The white is factory, but everything in green is wrapped and I cut the decals and side stripes with my vinyl cutter and placed them on. My winter project was to wrap a new look on it, but I'm recovering from a broken shoulder, so that's on hold for now.

    Hopefully recovery goes well. Crazy how much damage a slip on the ice can do. We have had a mild winter here in ND with minimal snow / ice. Definitely abnormal but I’m not complaining lol.

    @@TunersCanvas Thank you. I have about another 4 weeks to go, but they tell me it's going well. It is crazy how a slip can cause damage like this. I guess it's just how I went down and hit. I have a car to wrap and will get the bike done in in the spring too.

    Very nicely done! I’vr tried the same today with my Nissan’s grill but it was a big fail… I’m wondering if i was using the right wrap, yours didn’t look sticky and seemed very stretchy and pliable. I ended up removing it as it had quite a few tears and kinks 😕

    Hey, thanks! I’ve learned practice and patience go a long way. I have a lot more appreciation to those who do it daily. I went with Avery Dennison vinyl as it’s discussed in the industry as one of the leading brands. Someone told me that it would be much easier to work with when not having a lot of experience. What film did you decide to go with?

    @@TunersCanvas thanks for the reply! I don’t really know what i was using, i’m following you from Europe. I’ll look for something more stretchy next time. Cheers!

    There was a lot of tension in the film to get it to stretch down into those side recesses. Did the vinyl creep back in a few days, or was the adhesive strong enough to prevent lifting? Also, you prepped it with alcohol first, right?

  • @TunersCanvas

    Hey, good catch. Everything was prepped with alcohol, but those tight recessed spots on both sides did lift back. I recently received a new color for the Tacoma and will be pulling off the Rock Grey, you suggest a small inlay this time?

  • @karlInSanDiego

    @@TunersCanvas I tried mine and didn't use enough heat to set the adhesive. But watching other videos it seems that vinyl in strong tension can lift. Inlay could help. I'm a complete novice.

    @@karlInSanDiego Same here. The Tacoma was my first wrap as I mentioned in the video. I have done a handful of vehicles since and ready to update the Tacoma with some lessons learned and change up the color. Thanks for the feedback!

    How much wrap did you use for just the grill ?

  • @TunersCanvas

    @TunersCanvas

    I’d you were to order just enough for the grill, you’d be fine to source 1 yard (36”x60”) of material.

    Is this durable?

  • @TunersCanvas

    @TunersCanvas

    As far as handling the elements, yes it is able to withstand cold, snow, rain, sun climates. It is however a film applied over the paint so sharp objects, rock chips, etc will impact the vinyl about how you’d expect. Does that help?

    Sorry. I’ll have to do some digging. Don’t seem to have notes at quick glance. I believe it’s a preloaded option from Apple iMovie
