Saw the Crucifucks open for the DK's they were great, I can see why Sonic Youth grabbed thier drummer. The Mistaken sound cool, For a second there I thought you were going to read another poem. Another cool video.

I once picked up an original Orphan Egg at goodwill... not in great shape not even G. In VG+ it sells at over $100. Put my copy in a pile a records I got store credit for at a Record Store. Great album... Awesome seeing you show it.

The Crucifucks are one of my favorites. Wisconsin is a little less hardcore. Still really good. They put one out in 96 called The L.D. Eye. It's more hard rock but still good. The singer, Doc Corbin Dart, put out a solo record in 89 called Patricia. It's really good. It's more folk, rock, experimental. It's one of my favorites. I have a test pressing of it. Great records shown, as usual.

I like that La Luz record. The woman who produced the record is in a band called Spacemoth. I think she may be one of the new members of La Luz, too. I found a copy of the 1st Kiss w/o "Kissing Time" last year. I grew up with the song on the record, so I'm used to it being there.

Hey Rich! Nice batch of records Always cool to see what you’re into. That KISS album brings back memories as a kid worshipping KISS! Strutter is such a killer track! Full of RNR swagger! Great song to start a recording career with It def represents what they were trying to do back then! Thanks for the mention btw and glad you’re into that Orphan Egg on Cosmic Rock! I was sold on it when I heard that first weirded out fuzz bomb on side 1! I don’t even mind the radio friendly songs either. Cool album by a bunch of high schoolers! LoL! I wasn’t the one that showed Mistaken but id like to have it! Haha! Sounds cool! Love when you said Mistaken & KISS likely have fans with common ground! Made total sense to me! I’ll have to check out Orphan Egg. I had the first KISS album years ago and sold it during the 90’s for pennies😢 I probably bought it around 78.’ it was the dark blue Casablanca label and included Kissin Time so probably second pressing. I hope I find it again for a reasonable price.

Kiss albums are very collectable now.

Always learn something new with your videos. I never got into Kiss and wound up shunning them because so many of my junior high friends loved them so much. Maybe I should give them an honest chance. You gotta love a band called the Crucifucks!

Still enjoy the Kiss debut album. I have that Beefheart box on CD.

I saw Kiss when they opened for the New York Dolls in '74, was into them as a teenager, but lost interest in them after Kiss Alive. I need to get that Orphan Egg LP, sounds great. I'll check out the Crucifucks and the Mistakyn. Love the shirt!

The Crucifucks album was one of the most abrasive records at the time. KISS on the Casablanca blue label, cool. All classic tracks on that one, except the Love theme which was edited down from the original much heavier instrumental 'Acrobat'. Have to investigate Orphan Egg and The Mistaken; anything on Bad Trip Records

I never cared for Kiss but this record is fun and has some good jams.

Had no idea about The Mistaken. They're not all winners, a couple of cool songs. Might track that one down.

I’ve played Orphan Egg a lot. For Miles start with In A Silent Way and then Jack Johnson.

What’s with Frida on the cover of that album? I always thought the extra song on the Kiss debut was the first pressing. Good tune, should have been placed around the middle of the side.

lots of punk have annoying voices: Jello, the Dicks, Flipper, the Residents, and uh oh yea Johnny Rotten. That list, you could almost make the case its the norm for punk vocalist to be annoying.
