Wow. I had listened to THE KOLN CONCERTS this past weekend. I don't have anywhere near as much as you do but I also have some Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, Coltrane, and Miles. 👍🏻

Frank Zappa takes up the most space in my collection with 136 releases. He is followed by Jimi Hendrix with 50 albums. Devo comes in at 30 LPs. But I will have to mention I had to have all releases by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Steppenwolf, The Beatles, Kiss, Kraftwerk, Jethro Tull, and Black Sabbath.

I was thinking - wow, that is a lot of records from each group, but I can't fault you for having them. And having many Residents records is beyond impressive. Plus that much Zappa - The Vaultmeister needs to take you on as an assistant!

With the number of Residents releases I could have if I was still collecting them(I slowed down a lot after Our Finest Flowers), they could definitely move up this list even farther. Thanks for the comment!

Another fab video and holy hell, what an awe-inspiring collection! Also, I always love hearing some righteous love for Peter Hook. For me, he was the true gem and MVP of both Joy Division and New Order.

Great video Bill, you had me at XTC and the Residents Blow me away! I too have a deep Love in vinyl of these Bands!! Zappa too...I just got a copy vinyl of Funky Nothingness. Btw was your copy of Meet the Residents a first pressing? Also Hats Off to the condition of your collection..that's my Jam too!! !

I have an early stereo Meet The Residents(not the original cover), a mono picture disc, and mono and stereo reissues on different color vinyls, but no original press.

Have a pretty good Miles Davis collection on CD, anyway. 😊 And I DO NOT have access to Joe Travers on my channel!! That blew my mind! I have over 8,500 lps and cds in my collection. This does not count over 800 FZ concerts on both tape and cdr (most I have on both) and maybe 30 on reel to reel. This also does not count all the duplicates (whenever they release a FZ title I get 2 copies as you never know when they might go OOP. I count each box set as 1. I do have multiple versions on each FZ release the original vinyl, the original Ryco cds, the UMe cds, European cds, bootlegs both vinyl and cd. FZ is the largest count in my collection…I must have 500 titles at least…probably more (over 200 different vinyl bootlegs) The next largest artists are Rolling Stones Beatles Elvis Johnny Cash Kinks Loudon Wainwright III Maria Muldaur Bob Dylan Neil Young Little Feat Hendrix Beach Boys Cramps

Well, take away the duplicates, and it's more like 15. Some of them are EPs as well.

How many vinyl albums do you have ? How many will you never listen to again in your remaining life time ?
