Just like the label on the packet says: Not As Good As Noble Records but a pretty good haul. I've now subscribed to The Vinyl Voyage to help keep you on YT. There's a great Melbourne record store called Strangeworld and they get a bit of Guerssen's stuff. Farm, Andromeda, Voight/465, Cozmic Corridors, etc...good label.

It is a great label but I’ve never seen Guerssen in a store. I’m glad Vinyl Voyage got to 200 subs but I was looking forward to taking a break.

I’m not much of a lyrics guy. Once in a while some lyrics will stick out but it is usually the music that hooks me. I have a few Tell Tale Hearts records but don’t recall any lyrics. The Doors do indeed have some interesting lyrics. Lyrically of the three I think the Smiths are the ones I connect to the most.

This is a pretty good haul. Very good shout out. I am already subbed to The Vinyl Voyage!

Magic Lantern is so good. Guerssen is my favorite label. When ordering from them, find their shipping sweet spot. Start with 3-5 records in your cart and pay attention to shipping when adding or subtracting records to your cart. For example, if you have 3 records in your cart, a 4th can be added at no extra cost.

Club Ska is probably the best Ska comp ever imo. Phoenix City is the nuts. Hard to find not absolutely beat up. Yeah Vinyl Voyager is a great channel. My fave DK live album is ‘Live At The Deaf Club’

I have two great live DK albums, Live At The Deaf Club and Mutany On The Bay. Club Ska is great. I have three really good 60’s Ska comps.

I had that Cykle album because those guys were from North Carolina. Another perfect example of middle of the road (at times even below average) garage/psych that I have no idea why it’s collectible. There were a couple of songs where the organ sounded good, but a lot of times it sounded like circus organ. Your hair is looking fantastic!

Backwoods Metal was a cool dude.

Mango put out quite a few fine compilations of well-known reggae artists. You showed a couple of one-and-done artists that sound very cool.

The only record store I go to in Bakersfield has a good Reggae section. Now and then I do pick one up.

Nice that you mentioned Backwoods metal....I liked his videos to and yea absolutely right about his enthusiasm over getting VCLT 🙂I remember he came back for one video and told about his health issues 😢....he said at that time he’d be fine 😐😑 RIP my friend and peace to his family🙏🏻✨

Man I totally remember Backwoods Metal! I used to watch him pretty religiously early on in my VC career! Sad whenever anyone dies especially a part of the community you belong to 😔 I think both Dave & I showed that Beacon St Union album as we’ve been in sync in our vinyl finds history lately. I have no idea why they included that Blue Suede Shoes cover! LoL! Def not as good as their 1st album! Always dig those MGM inner sleeves! Very colorful! I need to check out that HayMarket Square LP! I’ve known about it but just never seen it anywhere. Guerssen is awesome with their hard rock & psych reissues! Cykle! I showed that one in my last video of the year! It was on my want list forever! Got it cheap too! Cool garage fuzz record! Some very cool albums Rich! ✨✌️👽✨

Enjoyed the lyric recital. I miss The Cramps. That Goo Goo Muck facsimile 7” is very nice.

That 013 is a good record! The version I have has a 7” as bonus. Check out the band Ratsia from Finland. You would probably like them. Don’t know the man who has passed but that sucks.

You might like Eppu Normaali's first two LPs and Kollaa Kestää's LP is worth checking out. A new band called Tiikeri is good. My recommendation!

Very cool that you found that "The clown died...." record. I really like their first record. Guerrsen label rules. Cykle looks really cool. I have a record by The Raquet Squad! "I have 5 live Gun Club records....2 of them sound good" lol.

Cramps lyrics reading is my favorite thing I have seen this week, and I watched a whole bunch of drain cleaning videos from Australia, so that is a pretty damn high bar. If you go to goodwill and find a dvd player for $5-10, that will work as a cd player. I think the Beacon Street Union albums are equal - they are good, but not amazing.

Nice pickups and great lyrics reading there. I will check out Vinyl Voyage. Guerssen has some cool stuff, starting to see those records out at records stores. Happy Spinning and take care, Cheers

Richie, yes, that Club Ska 67 is a rollicking blast of good-time music. That stuff influenced The Specials, The English Beat and Madness, more purveyors of fun sounds. I never heard of Beacon Street Union or Haymarket Square. I listened on-line, both sound appealing. My fave version of ''Baby, Please Don't Go'' is by the Amboy Dukes.

I have the first Melody’s Echo Chamber on CD. I think I’ll pick it up on vinyl. It has a couple of songs that are great.

Yeah I got some old sleeves like that. If it is an expensive album I will get a new sleeve otherwise it has survived that log ad will last loner tan me. I need to check out Melodies Echo Chamber Nice poetry reading Riche. They still may Ave those eat poetry clubs to get a gig. Interesting but weird mix of songs on Beacon Street

Ha tough to top Noble there but Haymarket Square is an excellent psych lp been meaning to get my hands on. That looks like some quality there. I sold that Beacon Street Union record, couldn't measure up to me but did keep the 1st one. Really solid one.

I need to get that snot puppies, hay market square looks cool. Haven’t heard of beacon street union, just listened to Green destroys the gold and really liked it. I’m shocked you’re getting rid of that the birth the death the ghost!

Wow that’s very very cheap! I just ordered something online recently so I’ll have to wait a week or two but if it’s still there by then I’ll probably get it. I have a handful of DVDs and blue rays, maybe I’ll do a video on them soon.

Have not heard from tuco for awhile it's been a year .hit hit that major record hoard then nothing needs a check in.

Oddbox Topper was another cool dude. About 5 years ago I was doing a thumbs down campaign. Oddbox Topper told me he had a video with over 200 thumbs down.

GOO MUCK = Kool grab. Boot most likely, but who cares . If you take all the best cuts from the two Beacon Street Union LP's and put them together, you'd have one great psych album. I have an older reissue of that Haymarket Square, yeah it's good. I seem to remember it has one song that is very Cream like... not sure though. Mine's on Void, no poster but has a two page bio sheet. Good choice with the Cykle LP.

I was actually going to do a Finnish video after buying 013.

I think the Beacon Street Union's first, Eyes of the BSU, is better than the Clown Died in Marvin Gardens, but Clown has it's moments. I need to check out Haymarket Square, looks quite psychy. Those FM Radio Broadcast albums are kind of hit or miss with me. Some of them sound excellent, and some sound like shit. I got a Misfits one and it was awful, but the Alice in Chains one sounded great, too bad about the Dead Kennedys LP. A cool haul Rich, Noble Records would be proud!
