You're an Artist!!! Wonderful job!!! Congratulations... ❤🎉
If someone would have told me 10 years ago I'd be spending my late 20s and early 30s watching a channel about shoe care where I'd become obsessed with the sound of leather being cut, I would have thought they were nuts. Now i'm too obsessed to stop. 🤣

You do it because you admire the effort and dedication of the artisans, I would never have thought I would be doing the same and I’m only 68;-).
I love all the old tools and machinery, they were built to last
I really like the shoes and have known the Florsheim name all of my 76 years, but I had no idea they were so meticulously crafted. This was fascinating and just reaffirmed my feeling that we have become a throwaway society, and I'm sorry to see it. Thank you! 😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤

Watching you working on those Florsheim Imperials took me back to the late ‘70’s when my dad would have his Imperials worked on. Whenever I watch the 2 of you, I close my eyes and can remember the smell of the leather at Square Deal Shoes in my hometown of Des Plaines, Illinois. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing work and for keeping the shoe Cobbler trade alive!!!

My father wore Florsheim Imperials that my sister and I called 'termite shoes' for the small holes in them. My father was very smart and was making over $50K yearly in the late 1950s and always had the best of tools, clothes, etc. I later realized that Florsheim and Bass and Allen Edmonds are all top notch shoes...

my grandfather was a cobbler, he passed well before I was born, but my mother says the same thing. she remembers the smells of the workshop fondly...
Another insanely entertaining and calming video. I used to wear nothing but Florsheim Imperials. There was nothing like them. Now I actually see why. It breaks my heart to see what junk Florsheim has become.
In my opinion, your best video to date. Much more detail and explaining . Please do more ASMR. Beautiful restoration.
My dad had two pair and that is all he needed. One brown, one black, timeless wingtip style.
I never imagined that I'd become a cobbler groupie. These gentlemen are so amazing.
And I like this kind of videos, too... I like that you explain in subtitles exactly what you are doing. The most routine things for you are very new for someone who never did anything like this - explaining what a tool or a machine does is very interesting. Please keep doing both!
I never seen a restoration like this. Simply amazing. Congratulations. Greetings from Brazil.
I like the new format even though you guys never wasted our time with useless banter as so many other creators do. I like too that you keep the captions up long enough to be read by old guys like me. I have never seen you guys add moisturizer to the inside of the shoes before. Have you always done that? Even if I had your talent, I could never be a cobbler, I. would be yelling at guys to put shoe trees in your shoes damnit!! Another outstanding job!

Just imagine thar most people don't want to even pay 30 dollars now .if you go to Goodwill you will find this shoe popup and they sell for about 10.00..I have a pair myself from there along with a few Allen Edmonds

Gentlemen, I had no idea of how much skill it takes to be a Cobbler until I caught one of your videos on my feed. Hell, I never took shoes in general seriously until recently because of watching you guys do what I consider Magic when it comes to repairing. This is nothing but a tremendous amount of knowledge and skill and I'm now constantly fascinated by watching Trenton & Heath do your thing. Thank you so much for the learning experience and fantastic vids. Btw, I subbed the living hell out of you channel. Cheers and again Thanks boys! 👍

There used to be many many shoe repair shop's in California bay area. When people wore real leather shoes, boots, they would have them repaired or resole and last many year's. Until the sneakers tennis shoes came along everyone had to have the latest style and shoes became disposable. In the old day's you may had very few shoes in your life time.
Impressive reconstruction - and the use of captions is a good thing.👍
I love that you guess are training new guys in this trade!! Been watching for years and just love the art behind cobbler work. Keep doing good work guys!!
That's a good edit. Thank you for the revisit, the craftsmanship is cool too see.

My Dad had 3 pair of FL. Sooo proud of them. Loved to watch him shine them. How beautiful to watch a vintage pair come back to life more beautiful than ever. You are a true artist. Thankyou!
Watching a skilled craftsman at work is very enjoyable to me. His confidence, the assurance shown in his movements and the sense that this chap knows exactly what he's doing, all combine for a very satisfying show.

Absolutely beautiful job you've done. You can see the pain staking hours you've spent bringing these black men's brogues back to life. Thanks for sharing your talent ❤
Effective ASMR relies on the sounds of the work you're doing. Soothing music can be had anywhere. The videos you guys produce (ASMR or not) are fantastic and so much fun to watch.
The cobbler's art. Beautiful. Enjoyed the relaxed ASMR.
Absolutely awesome work!! Your work, and you, are worth every dollar spent for all you do. ❤❤
Just Extraordinary. I've never seen you put so much work into decorating shoes as you did with these. Bravo fellas! Just beautiful
In January of 1982, I bought a pair of this exact shoe, Florsheim Imperial Wingtips, pebbled leather. Same shoe. I still proudly wear them to the office. I have no end of fun telling my staff and coworkers that the shoes I am wearing are older than they are, lol! My dad thought I was crazy at first to spend so much on a pair of shoes, fresh out of college as I was, but once I saw them, I simply had to have them. I told him this was going to be the last hundred bucks I'd ever spend on black shoes. He told me that if I took care of them, they'd last a lifetime. He was right. I was wrong, though, as a few years ago I bought a nice pair of Allen Edmonds black shoes, just for the fun of it. They're not nearly as heavily built as my Florsheim Imperials. The Florsheims are SOLID. Thanks for another awesome video!
After all that work on those shoes, I dont think I could wear them outdoors. I'd put them on a shelf to be admired. Beautiful job. Its above skill, its art.
I have a pair of Florsheim Royal Imperial’s that I purchased in 1979 for $375. They have been re-soled and reheeled probably a half a dozen times and they still look great. Heath did a beautiful job on those shoes.

Last I checked, Johnston and Murphy's are simply expensive Dockers' shoes at this point. (Which aren't bad shoes, if you don't mind wearing out a pair every year.) My mom sold J&Ms back too, when they were very prestigious.

Tremendous amount of labor. Have to be high end shoes to justify this amount of work. Impressive job. 😊
Trenton and Heath-Fantastic video! Great work, as usual. I enjoyed the format of the video. Very informative, but relaxing. You always go the extra mile.
I still just love that cork application! Thank you for sharing!
I loved this style of video... very relaxing and fun to watch. It seems the old Florsheim shoes were made very well. But, that was probably before most production went to China and India.
There is something very satisfying and calming watching you work. It’s a privilege to watch a fine craftsman do what he does so well.
That was incredible!!!! Totally relaxing and so full of master work. I loved the quiet of it all. It really made me look at the work you were doing and every step you were taking. Brilliant. Do a few like this every now and then!!
Beautiful pair of shoes and finished product. Love the music.

Bravo, Don't stop! By far you gents wrapped up and demostrated everthing under 30 minutes.
The workmanship, patience, and technical precision is wonderful to watch!!
Loving this format. Informative and thorough.
I have been watching your videos for a few weeks now and I am very impressed with your level of craftsmanship. These shoes came out beautifully. No corner-cutting here, this certainly shows that “you get what you pay for”. I had no idea what goes into making and repairing a good pair of shoes.
The pride he takes in his work is just amazing 🤠👌✌️!!!.
Love the wingtips, class never goes out of style.
The level of craftsmanship shown in this video is bordering on an artform. Bravo!
I have a pair of these exact shoes, twenty years old, resoled once and still going. Good to see quality leather being looked after.
Superb workmanship. A true artisan. Thanks for sharing
Beautiful work! My dad had a pair just like this. Even then, 1960's, he said they were expensive and a brand to be admired.
The creativeness and attention to detail is worth every second ❤❤
Nice touch with the brush strokes on the sole. Good to see Forest helping and learning too.
i love the way this video was done!! i was literally in a trance watching you work. great video and great work, thanks.
Every pair of these old Florsheim Imperials is a national treasure. I have a pair of 93602's (brown) and a pair of 92604's (black) that I plan on having for the rest of my life. I'll never get tired of watching them be brought back to life. Great work!
Wow stunning quality work well done. Great video I loved it.
Wonderfully done! Those shoes are beautiful looking!
Amazing job Heath! Imperials are my all time favorite shoe, the Sherman Tank of wing tips!
another wonderful film, another wonderful restoration!
Amazing work, you have all the right equipment, but working with your hands is perfect.
These ASMR-style videos are great!
As a young man I wore wingtips and penny loafers. Always thought they looked classy. Great work on the restoration.
Beautiful work!
Here in the UK There’s nothing Even Today Still like a Decent Full Pair of leather Brogues on your Feet👍 I’m a Fan of Full grain leather And Leather Soles if possible just for the looks alone and Still Wear my Black Grenson Archie’s and Triple Welts which I’ve added Steel Tips To the heels to save on heel wear. I also Love my Loake 1880 Chester brogues the same But never Had The Florsheim imperials which seem to be more popular in the US for some reason as here it’s Grenson,Loake and Trickers that are the most popular. I’ve also never used Saphir Products but swear by Altberg Leder Gris As my Go To For Polish and Waterproofing. Superb Video as Always by you guys and a pleasure to watch you work and the Detail you put into restoring these beauties🙏👍
Long time viewer here, I LOVE this style of video. The text explains any interesting details, but the gentle quiet music compliments the sounds of leather squeaking, rough textures, and the work being done.
That is a tremendous amount of work. My favorite part was the melting in of the cork. Who knew that was such a thing. That process probably cost more than the shoes did originally, and built better than they were originally. Strong hands, patient heart, affinity for perfection.
16:00 The perfect use of an original set of safety squints. Well done. 👍👍
Beautiful video. I loved every second of it! What a work of art those shoes are. I so loved this format ❤❤❤
Great video! Such a classic shoe.
As a cobbler myself I can honestly say that’s one of the best restorations I have seen well done keep up the great work
I’ll buy this from you. It look a real classic! But I don’t wear dress shoes often. I mostly wear safety toe work boot. Thanks for show us this to understand that it can be reuse after resole and restore than buying cheap China made shoes. Thank you!
Love the ASMR format with the music, beautiful work!
