Vintage Kawasaki KX Team Green Strikes Gold - Ponca City, Early 1980s

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Team Green Strikes Gold Kawasaki promo film from the early 1980s. No date shown but given that most of the bikes are shown with the side number plates built into the rear fenders this is from the early 1980s. The bikes had this style rear fender as follows: KX80 81'/82', KX125 82'/83', KX250 82'/83'/84', and KX500 83'/84' (according to the Kaw Model Recognition Manual).
Note: my claim that this is from the early 80s (82-83-84) is based on the statement the narrator makes at the 2:30 mark. "And the new Kawasaki moto-crossers they brought" is spoken while showing bikes from that era. While he had just prior referred to a young lady as the 1986 home coming queen I think he meant she would earn this title later when she was older. I could be wrong. I am just trying to give a frame of reference---not do a forensic analysis of the video. Regardless of the exact year this was filmed it was a time of rapid development for MX and I highly doubt any manufacturer would take outdated models out on tour and present them as the latest offerings.
