Ғылым және технология
This is a show report from my trip to america looking at VCF east and how it compares to a european computer event. We had such a good time, I would love to attend again. Check out Amiga Bills Channel for later videos coming out with more detail of the prevue video system

Very interesting visit.
Great vid and great seeing you there!
Awesome video Ravi, looks fun!
Great video Ravi
Thanks so much for this video! Really nice walk-through and smooth-chill narration! I'd love to hear what these Tektronic terminals went for at 10:53 and at 10:59. Wonder if anyone might know...
💯% like... havent watched it yet... but I know its gonna be a killer of a video 😊👍
Wow! Excellent video. I saw so much stuff I haven't seen in years it almost made me tear up. 😊

Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks like it was a great meet, amazing the huge variety of stuff on display!
10:20: Ravi: "Imagine using a Newton now." Me: Imagine passing by a Curta without comment and without pestering the owner for a demonstration or to maybe even be allowed to try it out.
the only winning move is not to play!
I had to update a Chyron back in the day. They were junky in the '90s.
10:22: Since the label can be a bit hard to read in the video, here's what it says: Curta Type 1 November, 1952 Not an electronic computer, but a fully functional mechanical calculator that can add, subtract, multiply, all by turning a crank. CPU: n/a, RAM: "|RAM|", OS: None
12:50: "They were kind of used as like nodes connected to a system."
Looks like a great show with some really weird systems on display. Sounds like you had a great time too.
I remember being blown away when some poor speech appeared on C16 games 👍
11:08: "There was also new old stock of Microsoft 360."
Loved the video... which brings me on to a question... no one had the A1200 CD rom drive... so its rare.. so my question is this... Can you and Neil at RMC go and get it from the museum and actually take it apart and get it to work? Would be "kickstarting" amiga history

Hey, we took a look at it, sadly it can never be functional as it needs a custom board that Dave hainye created to interface with it. We did ask Dave about it a few years ago and got in contact with the original developers

@@Djformula I wknder if a raspberry pi will work with it? I know it's not 100% original but a bit of programming could get it up and running and it would look amazing to boot up cannon fodder CD32 version on there. Oh.. and a massive thank you in advanced for signing the Amiga Addict mag for me. Will inbox you as soon as I get it as I'm Facebook jail for a month so I cant share it on the amiga groups or yours, Dan or Joe's Facebook page unrill the ban lifts
