Its that time of the year!
Axe Addicts are secretly santaing all over the world, sending joy in the form of sharp steel, sturdily mounted to woods of various species. This is my second year participating, and it sure is fun! Something about making something for someone, just tickles the brain.
For my rendition this year, we have an old, very beat up piece of steel that needs some fine tuning, a new mate, and a bit of care. The remaining stamp still show "HEB", i think. definitely an H, the rest is debatable.
The handle is carved from Ash and Black Walnut. Hopefully it will provide a good sturdy existence for its new owner, a finely mustached gentleman in North Carolina.

...Ok, the first upload had some spelling errors. I tried to fight it off, but alas, here i am. Reuploading. Shameful, i know. But ya know what, I made a fancier thumbnail to go with, so we are on the up and up. Please say a prayer to the fallen 250 views i had in the first upload. May the KZread gods forgive me!

I believe that may be a Hubbard and Blake possibly. Oakland Maine. The handle also looks to be New England pattern maybe Tatem handle or New England handle co. Scroll end

Thank you!!! its not for sale, it was made for an axe based secret santa run by a facebook group that is dedicated to axes; Axe Addicts! Hopefully it will be arriving to its new home in North Carolina sometime this weekend.
