I bought my house with an inground pool about a year ago and decided to hire a pool guy for the first 3 months Way too expensive when you can clean the pool yourself for a fraction of the cost! I bought a manual vacuum initially and what a waste of time that is! Finally I ended up reading the reviews on this one and WOW what a steal. I ran this thing for an hour and it’s definitely the cleanest my pool has ever been! I hope it lasts but even if it doesn’t it’s still cheaper than the Barracuda.

I have the same pool cleaner and it works great! You just have to relace the diaphragm once or twice a year to keep it working like new.

Hi John. I've had mine since November and did not come with an extra diaphragm. I've had to replace the diaphragm once so far. I am have an issue with mine right now. It won't move. It has plenty of section. I've tried giving it more and cutting back but no matter what I do, it won't move. Another ongoing issue I experience is that is gets stuck in the rounded corner of the shallow end where my steps are. But I just move it when that happens. Right now, I'd like to solve the non-moving issue. Any ideas?

I have not had any issue with mine yet but i owned a diaphragm type years ago. The issue of not moving was always the diaphragm and all i can suggest is to keep sharp objects like twigs and rocks. Instead keep using a pool rake to pick them up. Make sure to check it did not get damaged again. Another thing is to make sure the diaphragm has been installed properly. I hope this helps.

How do you put the weight ring on the hose. It can’t snap over any part of the head of the hose. If you try to put it between sections, there’s no room for the sections to connect. ?? Thanks

squeeze the hose in the middle and it should go on. it will not fit over the connections cause the plastic is too hard...

My vacuum climbs up the wall past the water level which causes the pump to lose it prime. Any recommendations? Also, sometimes gets stuck in a corner.

My Vingli lasted only one year. Cracked rubber yellow diaphragm piece. Replaced the yellow diaphram and it would still not work. Brand new I could not get it to work with the white tube section with the bevel shaped button. The opening on that was so large the water just sucked through that opening instead of the cleaner. It worked fine when I removed that. But one year and it will not now.

no problems yet. I will make a video if any issues come up down the road.

The diaphragm broke and I cant find any place to buy a new one except for amazon has one person that sells it. Its VERY expensive and shipping time is 3 weeks even thought I have prime! Any suggestions of where I can buy it or which other diaphragms are compatible?

Check your Diaphram. It's either clogged or ripped. Also, check that the regular is properly adjusted and there's no obstructions in the hose. Hope this helps.

No, I wouldn't do that for the the simple reason it's not made for above ground. They have different types for those.

Hi Steve. I have to admit I thought it would only last a year or so instead it will be 3 years in mid April. I've changed 3 diaphragms, mostly our fault for dropping sharp objects in the pool. Had to Change the Skirt once, also my fault for leaving it in the pool without it operating when shocking it with chemicals. Overall, for the cost, it already outlived the $ Will probably order a new one soon. Also keep in mind it also depends how much it's used. We have an olive tree next door that sheds all its leaves once a year. No matter how much we rake it still needs to pick up a lot of them.

If its not moving the first thing to check is the diaphragm, if there's anything stuck in it or its cut from sucking a sharp object. Also check strainer and filter if clogged.

What size pump do yu have

I have no idea of the size pump since there's no tags. The motor is 1 HP 3450 RPM, 13.0/6.5 amps, 115/230V 60hz.

Probably not, depending on the size of the acorns, they can get stuck in the diaphragm. I would not want acorns going through the system I would use a net to pick them out. Hope this helps.

Leaves clog mine up constantly. Also the vacuum will stay on the same path have tried everything
