Very light wind at New Haven this morning but just enough to stay up! If the seaguls can fly, Vincent can fly :D
Жүктеу.....

Your technique is really improving. There is a lot of finesse in your line handling and flight control that has not been obvious before. Keep it up my friend; it is beautiful to see through your eyes.

Ahah Thanks doc! That's true I'm a bit more gentle with my wing recently, I thought she liked it rough but I guess it was just me being a donkey :D Truth is, I'll never be able to sell this wing, everybody on the hill has seen how I treat her, I'll have to keep her forever now!!!

wind was 7-10mph on top of the ridge when I flew, and it was just barely enough to stay up, but it depends also on the air, if it's warm air coming in the cold land it very buoyant and creates lift, if the opposite it could be very windy but no lift ;). All very complicated I'm only starting to understand that stuff :D

Nice little flight you had Vincent and free from everyone, one note but not a criticism in stronger winds landing near to the edge you could find the wind actual turns 180 - scary its called rotor. Your be ok in the wind strength you flew in this video landing there - but always keep the bottom landing options open even if it means a walk up.

It's more about learning very quickly Vincent - people often like to point out theses areas. Mainly the people in the sport for a long time. As we have all been ware you are at now. So try and visualise the air in 3D

Love it Vincent! What is the wind speed needed to be successful?
