Easy bread
Ойын-сауық
Vincent shows you how simple it is to make a good loaf of bread at home.
All you need to do is get some good flour and relax, let time do the hard work ;)
Remember, source your ingredients, find a local miller who produces stone ground flour.
No more excuses now, get baking!
Recipe:
1000g flour
700g water
20g salt
Tiny bit active dry yeast
Oven temperature: 250C or 480F
The flour I use:

Hey man, Just wanted to say i watched this video when you first posted it about 6 years ago and it was the first loaf of bread i ever made because this video made me think wow so simple. Anyway 6 years later and hundreds of loafs of bread later I now work professionally as a chef and make bread on a daily basis for friends and family who all know me as "the bread guy" all from one little video i watched here 6 years ago! Thanks for making a fun video that inspired me so long ago.

You are truly right. I need someone love me as I love you and together we make a delicious fresh bread. Hahaha
Thank you for including washing the dishes as part of the process, it's a grim reality most media is afraid to talk about

Whatever I'm cooking or baking as soon as I'm done with a utensil of bowl or pot or whatever I stop and wash it and put it away before going on to the next step (unless I'm doing something really time critical.) Might make things take a bit longer overall but I really enjoy it more that way, so much more relaxing and enjoyable for me when I don't have to think of all the washing up to do later!
So many different bread recipes on the web, and here comes a genius guy with a great attitude, an easy recipe and an amazing result! Makes me wa’na make some bread!
You should have your own TV show....you are so talented in both baking and teaching, you give all the detailed information.
Exactly!!, if you count the actual time you spend tending the dough it's really nothing. It's all about being clever and organized ;) One should think a few days ahead when he needs bread, then spend 5mn here and there getting it sorted!
thank you master vincent for teach me how to make bread
your passion makes this infectious! keep it up
Mr. Talleu, your joy of this makes us happy too! Thank you!

This is incredibly delightful. There is nothing greater in the morning than watching a man make love to the process of baking bread.
You are amazing at making any kind of bread 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Wish I had all that knowledge. Beautiful job
I followed this recipe and made the most incredible loaf! What have i been doing all these years messing around kneading, olive oil, more kneading. Great loaf. Only thing is, make sure you have a big casserole pot that can take 1kg worth of flour. Vincent Rules!
Thank you Master Vincent for teaching me how to make bread!
Made the dough last night and baked the bread today! I baked the bread in 275 celsius for around 40 minutes total. It didn't end up looking as good as yours, but it tasted really nice. Crispy top and soft inside! This video was really helpful.
I love the smell and taste of fresh bread straight out of the oven. your video took me to days when I used to work in a bakehouse. happy memories. please keep the passion and upload more videos.
about 12 hours, but don't forget the music it's very important ;)

Dude. First I thought you weren't going to make a good bread. But after seeing the end product and the air pockets in the bread, I now realize you are a true expert. Made it so simple and fun. Thanks for sharing Vincent

10 years later I am still using this video to make the best bread ever. Wish Vincent followed up with the Sourdough tutorial!
As always, very cool video, Vincent; educational *and* fun to watch! I hope lots of people give this a try and aren't scared to bake it good and dark.
back to bread....my own....I used to....but somehow....but thanks to you Master Vincent, I'm back to bread.....my own! Already have a starter going and every other day we have fresh bread....oh my....had forgotten....not a huge loaf but enough...just enough. life is good.
Thank you Vincent, you are one of the best and my favorite "bread ambassador"! :-)
Love his technique, recipe, and especially his happy face!
thank you master vincent for teahing me how to make bread! It totally worked I am impressed!
Looks great Vincent...hope to see more bread baking soon.
Need to see more of these. You make it look so easy.
It is really fantastic the way you speak about bread! Thanks for the recipe and please keep doing this, you spread passion all over us! God bless you!
all right, nice vid.! I recently started to bake my own bread with a sourdough starter and other bread types like irish soda bread (love it!) today i tried your stiring the dough tip with my sour dough before I kneed 15 minutes and i found out that stiring everything first a couple of minutes makes my dough so much softer to work with, much easier for kneeding (by hand) great tip! keep it up with the vids!
Vincent, I love your baking and quirky style that entertains and makes us laugh! Keep posting great content! Long-time follower!
Thank you Master Vincent for teach me how to make bread!
Masterclass just listen to every tip, i never heard most of the things he said thanks you for helping me take another step to be the best chef in the world. 👀
Nick P - Oven temperature: 250C or 480F, but for the record I made the same recipe at 550f and it still turned out wonderful.
I've been making french bread in a similar method (after kneading and sitting I form and cook it slightly differently), and I have to say that this is a pretty solid video. Thanks for taking the time to show others how to do it!
Amazing video, i start baking my bread few days ago and i love it:) At my second i add some sunflower and pumpkins seed, lovely!
VINCENT IS ONE IN A MILLION HAPPY AND VERY INSPIRING BAKER MAY THE LORD GOD BLESS YOU MORE THAN ENOUGH
Thank you! Made my first loaf yesterday and it turned out beautiful, first time and because of your video.
Well done, my friend. Much respect.
thanks so much for sharing this! my husband wants to start making our own bread and you have made it look SO EASY! thumbs up!
is till visit your channel every time i make bread, not only to check the recipe but to watch the great work of my favourite baker. i hope you're doing well, Vincent.
I have just made this bread - turned out really tasty and the crust is amazing! Thanks for sharing this recipe.
Thank you Master Vincent for teaching me how to make real bread.
Made this a week and a half ago and it's still good to toast! Turned out really well so I'm making it again tonight but with a bit more yeast to make it a bit lighter.
Why cant i find the best video in the world of you working the whole day as a baker and cleaning up and stuff? I was watching it yester day and 3 years ago and thats the reason i started working as abaker :D you literally inspired me so much, i hope youtube hasnt deleted the video cause it was so nice 😋😋😋

The passion you show making bread is just contagious! Great videos!
Vincent, where are you? We miss seeing videos from you.
Yes Poilane have their flour stoneground, they also have a bit of rye in it I believe, you can do the same use 5 or 10% of rye and you get much better flavor ;)
Here for the sourdough video! Also to thank you, this was the first good bread I ever made and I've come a long way since. I got a decent sourdough recipe of my own, but would love to see you do yours!
Awesome video, Vincent. Very entertaining. I already knew how to make bread but I watched the whole video because you made it fun! Keep up the great work!
Very true! Also if you don't eat a lot of bread, you can let it cool down very well (at least 12hours) then slice it, and freeze portions, so when you need bread you can chuck it straight in the toaster ;)
You must be a good baker now .. love the way how you love what you were doing...theres a passion 🥰
I make a loaf of this every week now. Never fails
Excelente, muy buena explicacion y presentacion 👍
i have a bakery using only whole meal from individual local farms, stone milled in a restored local water mill. we leaven with wild yeast and bake in a wood fired oven. i know you are passionate about healthful, nutritious flour. and real bread, wondered if we could correspond and share notes? and by the way - you deserve your own TV series. your videos are excellent and so entertaining!
Awesome video. Thanks Vincent!
This guy REALLY likes bread.
I've learnt more about how to make bread in 8 minutes, then I have for..........ever! Awesome video, thank you!
Unless you have a steam oven, the main difference between baking your bread directly in the oven (or in a pan) and baking it in the cast iron pan with the lid on is that in the latter case, the steam remains there and helps with the "oven spring". After the loaf set, Vincent moved the lid so that the steam can escape and the crust can form.
I can see you on Tv soon with your program. Way to go Vincent keep them coming.
Brilliant man!!! You have a impressive performance to make a bread!
We miss you...I've watched the video and made bread for hundread times. thanks to you
You put love and passion in bread, great
You deserve your own television show dude!!!!!!
Yes, I'm looking forward to the sourdough video. I've made this bread several times and it's great!
i like how he respects the bread, respect!
I think this is the first time i've ever felt my heart melt and felt my stomach growl at the same time.
I found out that it is a good tip to bake the bread inside the pot! I baked it without a pot because I didn't have one the was big enough. Well the bread cooked a little more from the back side. The pot helps to distribute the heat evenly so that the bread won't overcook from the other side! You can do it without the pot, but make sure to take the bread out at some point and turn it around.
Measuring by mass is the most accurate way to measure anything! Liquid or solid. Especially when you think about the fact that density changes with temperature. You can see this effect pretty easily if you fill a pot almost to the top with cold water from the tap. then put it on the stove -- as it gets hot (and well before it boils), it will expand to the point where it will spill out of the pot or at least be very obviously taking up much more space.
Awesome video. Keep teaching us more master Vincent! Sourdough!
Love your personality, I feel so happy watching your videos!
honestly, I've tried a similar recipe, with half kilo of flour, and the result was good for my standard...but after this video I'm going to try your recipe, your bread looks delicious---thank you for your videos
Wow, the power of love in bread
Bread baked like this freezes very, very well. As soon as the loaf cools, put it in a plastic bag (from e.g. a store-bought loaf), close it with a twist tie and throw it in the freezer. When you're ready to eat it, just thaw it on the counter overnight in the closed plastic bag; the loaf will reabsorb the moisture and feel and smell very fresh once thawed.
Enjoy ;) I won't have to bring bread anymore soon if everybody follows my advice and bakes their own bread :p
vincent you are a master. bravo.
The best baker in the world!!!!
