Vince puts the same effort into lip synching as when he's actually singing. That's why he just stopped short on his lip synched part & just solemnly looked off to the side as the tape played. He shortens & abbreviates every word and syllable with everything else. So he forgot to fake his old lung capacity to pretend hold a note, because he's so used to mailing it in everywhere else, lol.

Great work, not only is he singing(lol) to a backing track he is also using a teleprompter for the lyrics which is a double disaster, at this point just hang it up I would not pay a penny to see this wreck.

It's fanboys who can't handle any kind of criticism of their old heroes so they defend them no matter what. Vince was never a great singer and Nikki could barely play the bass, yet the 1980s version of this band was 100 times better than this garbage. Old, fat and faking it. Pathetic.

They pre record tracks where Vince can do it at his own pace in a studio! They do also splice in album tracks vocals! I have said since the stadium tour that they have had pre recorded tracks for Vince! You don’t go from sounding like you have a mouth full of food one night to sounding halfway decent a couple nights later with Fakley Crue!

John 5’s decision to join this mess will come back to haunt him!!!!😂😂

If I look att old clips from the 80s Vince is pretty good, but as for now I think that Michael Starr could pretty much replace Vince. Someone was suggestioning Tim “Ripper” Owens, but I don't think he is suitble for Mötley Crüe.

That is Echo with a ton of Reverb. No I'm not trying to take up for Vince Neil because I'm tired of all their crap anyways. But you can have echo and Reverb on your phone and just about every 80s hard rock artists will use Echo with Reverb these days. Sebastian Bach does the same thing, David Coverdale same thing, and almost everyone else. They can hold that note out and immediately pulled the microphone away and the note is going to continue. My band we use that. You can go to your local music store and have them hook you up a microphone pretend you're going to buy one and tell them to turn up the Reverb and Echo you want to see how good it works and just hold a 5-second note out and immediately cut it off and see how long it holds out after you stop singing . I understand everything bad Motley Crue has done Nikki not playing his bass and the drama with Mick and coming out of retirement. I understand it's very hot right now online to really pick at Motley crue. But this is really one thing where it's live.

That part sounds exactly like the original recording and it goes on while he doesn't have the mic near him (sometimes, but not always). It's not just reverb and echo, it's a vocal part with vibrato, enunciation, etc. if he can't sing it he should throw it to the backup singers rather than faking it. That actually could have been cool to change the arrangement and adapt to what he can still do. But instead they fake it and that's stupid.

I have been a fan since 83 and have seen MC live 10x. Never again. I saw them two years ago in San Antonio and the performance was not good. Not dropping another $100 on this band again. Not cool.

He did sing it live ..they DID get the my my mys pumped in bet he sang the rest! I was in sound production for years! You can't hear he is singing the the song without the my my my then you aren't listening to it carefully otherwise. I watched opening night Atlantic city May 3 and whole show he sang live with exception of this song, his own vocals on the backup vocals of Dogs of War and thats it. He lost over 50 pounds and has hired a vocals coach. Damn but you still take a put the guy under your microscope to make sure Vince wasn't singing. Watch the rest and tell me aside from the exceptions I admit that he isn't putting out the effort. He'll, he even looks down at teleprompter at times in the May 3 show to make sure he does get the lyrics correctly! Why would he need a teleprompter if he was lip synching? Our favorite bands aren't going to be around that many more years and I'm gonna enjoy them while I can because when they are truly gone folks are gonna miss Motley crue and all the classic bands.

Thanks for confirming that my conclusion is essentially correct. About "putting him under a microscope:" he's putting himself out on a stage with a spotlight on him, literally, and taking people's money to watch him perform. He's a professional musician. I agree he is much improved from the state he was in several years ago, but all that effort has just gotten him back to a level that's still pretty dismal. If you don't want people to examine your performance, don't perform. And certainly don't pretend to perform. I don't feel sorry for Vince Neil or think he deserves a "that-a-boy" for continuing his career in such a poor state. He's not a victim.

I do respect him for getting tired of what the memes and jokes he was inspiring and did something positive about it. I think you can agree thats a fair point. In my personal opinion I think some of the most criticism comes from the footage before the weight loss and improvement. At any rate I respect you being civil and just communicating. Rare these days. We don't always have to agree but its nice to discuss topics with respect.

It's where the '5 seconds' is....the bits where he can't hit the high note at all. Then add how many 5 second parts in the show they're splicing in. It wouldn't be a major issue, if Nikki Syncs wasnt denying they don't do it at all. Instead they kick the guy out that isn't playing to a track and heap it on him, saying he's the issue.

Seen them when they opened for Ozzy for shout at the devil album (awesome, blew Ozzy away) all the way through carnival of sins tour. Cos tour was just great. Vince was on fire. Live music is getting terrible because of this. Sad part is not many care. I went to a recent concert which had in this moment and new year's day was awful. It was so obvious they were lip syncing that i felt so ripped off.

Although I agree that Vince has lost his voice. This video is not lip synced. That Is called digital delay. A number of the bands from the 80s singers used that effect to hold out long notes. It is an echo effect that doubles over itself. Get a clue Vince hater.

as an audio engineer I can confirm this isnt true, yes delay will extend the vocal but it doesn't create notes where notes don't exist and it would do it on all of his vocals not just ones he lets off the microphone, when he lets off his mouth, the delay would noticeably fade and it doesn't. Its more realistic to say its a very long reverb, but its clearly not either, he's not even singing for over a second and it keeps going.
