I met Vince when I was on the circuit and we were endorsed by the same amplifier company, and matching acoustic guitars. He was a star, and I was starting out and struggling. Vince treated me like an old friend, and equal. I never made the big time, but I will never forget the gentle, generous, gentleman who took the time and was gracious to someone who was in awe of him. Thank you Vince, I will never forget that.
I saw Vince and the Eagles last year and I really appreciated how respectful and humble he was on stage. He really appreciated the Eagles and the audience. Naturally.. Love him all the more for it. Everyone I know, loves that he is involved.
I Love you Vince. You're so gifted. God Blessed you good. In all areas. My Daddy was Preacher song writer singer. Would've gotten to meet you if my Daddy has opened for Hank Williams but got saved and called to preach. Thank God he passed his voice on to me. I was born later in life. Southern Gospel and Bluegrass and clean Country songs as Daddy used to call it. Lol I have an appreciation of All genres throughout my life because I was the baby girl of 5 children. Have 4 of my own. Ain't God good. My Daddy also had a Martin. Thank God for you and your humidity.
I could listen to Vince talk all day, even if I’ve heard all his stories.
Stephan, great interview, Vince is a great talent and above all a great human being. Thanks for these brilliant insights into the music business. Keep it going.

Lovely, honest, heartfelt interview. Nice job. Vince is such a sweetheart.
Wisdom, love Vince Gill, and good luck to you with your musical journey, you have a great friend in Vince!
I met Vince Gill in the 1985 in the elevator at RCA studios on my way to record at Merit Music but, as fate would have it, only one of us had a world class mullet. Ha! I have enjoyed following his career over the years. I can't wait for his autobiography to come out. I would like to have the next copy after Amy gets hers.
Love love love this keep it up love hearing Vince's story's you know when Vince's mom and dad first got married they moved to Sacramento CA so so so cool he has a Sacramento Connetion with it and with you being from the FootHills of Norcal I would love to hear Vince and Amy together on the next one that would be so cool
Great interview.
As I was listening to Vince talk it is so apparent that he is very humble and kind hearted but also so very down to earth totally reminds me of another country singer one that I had the privilege to meet and talk to and that is Toby Keith there are some really amazing folks in this world I loved this interview looking forward to more

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for listening. My friend was in Toby’s band. Real loss….
Thanks… some great points and insight into an intelligent, modest, hugely talented musician who comes with the right attitude of how to be in a band and how to read into what an audience might perceive with his inclusion into a musical institution like the Eagles. I lost my temper in front of my band mates due to frustration. I apologised afterwards and one of them said “ what are you apologising for, just for being human” I learned some stuff on here and I’m grateful for that.
Vince and Amy so humble
Vince is such an amazing person and player. Everyone who knows him, loves him. I saw him recently with the Eagles. I surely kept wishing that they would break into Amie. I think that is the most Eagles sounding song that vince gill ever did.
Best part of my week!!! Vince rules!! One of my favorite guitarists
