  • @Kobble03

Well it's worded wrong, at first he wanted to be the flash not kill him. He copied the experiment and gained the same powers, he idolised the flash and wanted to be just like him, but when he ran into the speed force for the first time he was shown that he would become the opposite of the flash, evil in every way. So instead of trying to fight and change the inevitable he embraced it, and became the reverse flash, he went back in time and became his arch enemy. The CW show just changes the formula a bit but it's still the same reason.

Another reason he never went againt his "predestination" I guess is because if time itself is literally telling you, you're gonna be the BAD guy no matter what, then is there any point in fighting it? but that's just my own theory. And finally in some comic lines, he is literally just straight up an evil psychopath, same origin but different nature and personality.(Also I'd like to clarify, I'm not super into comics, and this is all mainly from my own knowledge but it could be wrong, feel free to give it a read up yourself if you really want to know)

No one is born who they become. The entire thing of, “Destiny” is fake. Villains aren’t evil and Hero’s aren’t good. Hero’s do the big good things like saving the president from death. Villains are the ones who go around in those abandoned alleyways and help the helpless secretly, and nobody knows. Villains are the ones who have been broken or betrayed from someone who is considered a hero (probably) and they are trying to tell everyone that you have to be careful. They don’t want revenge, they want to be listened to and understood. But the hero’s always end up putting them in jail or killing them. People cheer for the hero’s but they murdered someone who was hurt. They could’ve been real hero’s by listening to the villain but no, they put them in forever sleep or in jail. Trapping them is making them feel worse. Hero’s aren’t saving the world. If the movies continued, and the hero’s kept putting the villains in jail, eventually with all that time to think, the villian would find the hero’s weakness and take over the world. Hero’s don’t save the world by putting villains in jail or killing them, they are destroying the world by creating the machine that did. Whenever I watch a superhero movie, the villain was always hurt by the hero and the hero gets an excuse for some reason because they are, “Saving the world” I mean I get it, they didn’t mean to hurt them. But they should’ve been more careful and instead of fighting, apologized. Villains are like sea monsters. If someone saw a “sea monster” on land in a town, no matter what they were doing, the person would be scared and would call people to kill the “monster”. The people that we see as evil are probably not even evil. People who don’t care about feelings and are selfish spread these lies, about monsters and creatures we’ve never heard about. And others say they don’t exist. I could be a sea monster right now, but as long as I’m human in your eyes, I can live. But if one day someone saw me as a “sea monster” I would be dead. Did I ever hurt you? No. Was I threatening you? No. Did you like me before I was a “sea monster”? Yes. So why do people just start killing them? Ok so this is very long so I should stop but I just wanna say the point. Villains aren’t evil, and hero’s aren’t always good. Villains are just misunderstood. If you made it this far, ty for reading my long essay xD

One of the most odd-ball characters I made was a monster of the truest sort, he has done unspeakably monstrous things because he has been broken at the very root of what it means to be 'human': Charles Montiederi was born a simple farmer, not a soldier or assassin or even someone that wanted to hurt others, quite the opposite. He had settled into the life his father and several dozen generations before him had lived in, ensuring food was on the table for his kin. When war came in the face of a self-identifying god-emperor (side-note: I wasn't aware of Warhammer 40K when I made the background, imagine the Emperor's Anathema for fans of the setting) he knew along with his peers that no-one could be spared from what he envisioned and so he took up a rifle. He fought for years until the conflict saw it's climax, in any other setting Charle's self-sacrifice would have seen the bayonet he drove into this monster's heart being the end, he goes home to his wife and dozen or so children and retires to a peaceful, quiet life. He was seconds late. The being that would later be known only as "The Enlightened one" ascended to true god-hood and wiped away all life to reshape the universe as he saw fit.....everything and everyone save Charles. He made him his personal torture play-thing, Charles has seen the entire universe rise to it's highest peaks and it's darkest falls, only to have the slate wiped clean. Every time he is manipulated, his memory altered *just* so to make him feel like he may have a chance at happiness, that he has been forgotten about, he settles down again to a life of peace only to have it violently ripped away and burnt to ash for countless millenia In the current universe my stories exist in, Charles has seen the 'cycles', where all life ends only to start again 5 times now....to call him a mentally twisted and vile man is the most polite way to describe him....and yet somewhere deep down he still hopes he may one day get a chance at peace, a way to break the grip of his tormentor so he tries and tries and tries again only to taste ash and be driven insane again and again.

The truth, Walker, is that you're here because you wanted to feel like something you're not - A hero. I'm here because you can't accept what you've done. It broke you. You needed someone to blame, so you cast it on me - a dead man." Captain Martin Walker wanted to save people (just like colonel Conrad tried to), but his actions led to even more deaths and suffering (and not just to others in that fictional version of Dubai, but to his own squad and himself). He slowly started to succumb into madness, desperately clinging to the idea that he is a savior to these people until the end and then realization that he failed (just like colonel Conrad did before him)

Imo the best "villain" was in "Law Abiding Citizen". I watched that so many years ago and I still remember it so well. A man loses his family, he watches while they were killed. The American justice system failed and the main killer got away. The man who lost his family snapped and became a vigilante. The whole time you know it is legally wrong, but it feels so right. That movie left me so angry.

I mean like a villain can be a good person just when put in the hands of probability everything can change. For example lets say there is an outbreak of a virus that is highly lethal. Our "villain" started out as a doctor who has good wills and wants to rid of sickness. Motivated by the fact he lost his grandma and mother to cancer. However his daughter contracts the virus. He becomes worried. His fear of failure and not being able to find the antidote he starts using unethical methods and shows symptoms of schizophrenia. These unethical methods include using a live person as a test subject and killing them in the process since they contracted the virus but are somehow immune. The person he killed was part of a group of people immune to the virus. He needed more test subjects so he attempts to capture them again and again until finally. His daughter dies. And he commits suicide. A good man can turn bad in a snap of a finger. Sometimes it all comes down to luck.

All of these were amazing. The thanos one was confusing me for a sec then I realized you were talking about the movie version of him. So yeah excellent. If you wanna know about comic thanos reason then keep reading. So this might not be completely accurate. Thanos in the movies and Thanos in the comics had 2 completely different reasons to kill half the universe. Movie Thanos wanted to kill half the universe (as stated in this video) so that no planet could suffer the way his did. However Comic Thanos wanted to kill half the universe in order to woo his lover lady death (I forget if that's what she's called or no but anyway). Comic Thanos was very different from others on his home planet so he was often cast out (I believe). Hence why he fell head over heels for 'lady death', but she refused to be with him unless he got the infinity gauntlet and then killed half the universe. Again this is from what I can remember so please don't think this is fact. If I've done any mistakes please correct them and please be gentle about it😂😂 anyway have a nice day.
