I was 10 when a New Hope came out, the queue was a mile long at my local cinema to get in to see it! It changed my life, It changed Movies altogether, a milestone in Cinematic history, And got me interested in 3D, basically from Atari games and Star Wars Doku and Yoda so far is the best Sabre battle ever. When I saw this in the Cinema everybody was cheering! I make a living as a Graphic Artist 3d scenic Artist. I look at these films with a technical bent. Wonderful stuff. I shed a tear too!

That's where a man has to listen to wisdom and make his own decision. Another thing is that Palpatine is _an_ elder, but the Jedi are _his_ elders. Anakin chose to become a Jedi. If he finds the Jedi to be bad elders, he should leave them. If he wanted to just serve Palpatine he should have left the Order and become his personal bodyguard. The Jedi may object to Anakin being a lackey with so much power to someone outside the order, but at that point it would no longer be within their rights to do anything about it. There was a proper way to do what Anakin wanted to do. The root of Anakin's problems was he didn't decide which way he was going, trying to have all sides but only half-committed; putting himself in the position where betraying Windu was a strong temptation. There's something to be said for knowing when you're no longer the person you say you are, and making that reality public with a job-change or faction-change, so that it doesn't come to a betrayal situation in the first place. If someone can no longer trust you with their secrets, stop asking them to trust you and let them know you've got other priorities.

That's why Palpatine planned for this, he sent the droid army to attack Kashyyyk, knowing Yoda was friends with the Wookiees and drew Obiwan away with Grievous. Most of the Jedi Council was gone and Palpatine was easily older and more familiar to Anakin then the rest. Especially Mace Windu, who treated Anakin poorly. @@00Kuja00

The power of Elders in the community. Something completely destroyed in the West, where no one ever mentions the need to listen to one's elders. All Western commentaries on this movie and the whole prequel trilogy is what you would expect from Marxist communists of the Frankfurt school: Oh it's everyone else who failed Anakin, the Jedi are responsible for Anakin becoming evil, the youth know better than the elders. What a complete inversion of reality, or a severe blindness in interpreting it.

For Babu, the Chancellor started the war in secret by playing both sides so he could take over the galaxy. The jedi stood in his way so he gave the cloned an order to kill all jedi since they had "betrayed the republic" by trying to arrest him. Anakin became his apprentices due to the Chancellor stating he can save Padme in child birth. Anakin was frustrated and angry with the Jedi while the chancellor treated him like a son so Anakin chose him over the right thing. The revenge of the sith was them destroying the jedi while simultaneously gaining control over the entire galaxy.

So awesome to see their gradual realization that Palpatine was the real villain. Always really appreciate it when the movies are reacted to in this order without spoilers. I love it how Babu teased him at the end about Padme that was hilarious. 😅

Its so interesting seeing the reactions of people who know nothing of Star Wars, seeing these in the correct order. I wish I could forget everything and start at Episode 1. The surprise and heartbreak when everything falls apart changes the entire experience. Though it will take some of the mystery away from the original trilogy. 😁

He means the Jedi elders. Think about where these men are from, he is using the more spiritual meaning of Elder than the way you are interpreting it. Its not just "people who are older"

I'm curious how they will feel about this series. Congratulations on Badshah's nephew's marriage!

I hope they have Badshah watch this one, either on or off camera, so that he can watch the remaining episodes with them. He definitely needs to watch it so that he is on the same page as the others. He would be lost in comparison if he doesn't watch it.

@@doltBmB Not really ... in George Lucas's original handwritten drafts, he had intended "A New Hope" to be the sixth movie, not even just the fourth. So he never planned for the original trilogy to stand alone

you could tell how muh these guys were really into the story.. somewhere right before/during order 66, Babu says, "Its all gone so wrong!" Just about made me tear up! lol. Thinking about the whole story, it really was a pure tragedy. The Palpatie/Yoda fight gets to me more than even Anakin vs Obi-Wan, cause you gt this feeling of absolute desperation; if youda doesnt stop Palpatine HERE & NOW.. everything is lost..

Revenge Of The Sith is my absolute favorite out of the prequels. The double climactic lightsaber duels that take place toward the end of the movie. Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader VS Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar and Yoda VS Emperor Palpatine on Coruscant in the Senate chamber are top notch across the board. Musical score, fight choreography, visual effects, audio effects and emotional impact. I give them all an A+.

It's crazy how, after only seeing 3 movies and in order they had such insightful guesses at the end. They were pretty close on some deep truths.

The way Babu's eyes showed him being heartbroken by Anakin's fall and betrayal was what made me fearfull about them continuing this serie. It's so nice to have them react with such honesty. Congrats for Badshah's nephew's marriage !

These guys are gonna LOVE when Anakin returns in return of the Jedi.

That old guy is very wise. He figured out the whole story. I think they relate to Star Wars so much because Star Wars is kind of like a cautionary fable you might tell to kids when they are young. Think about it, warrior monks on the side of good fighting evil, prophecy, betrayal, turning to evil. If I was a kid, I wouldn’t let my my granddad leave until the story was done.

I am now interested to see how they react to the original trilogy, especially with them already knowing who Darth Vader is

I love how they pick up on the poetry that Lucas intended in his vision, like saying that Vader was a machine, as Obi Wan would later describe him "more machine than man" and Babu predicts that Anakins children would do great things and would Anakins son be the chosen one now that Anakin has fallen. I love how they pick up on the themes as well as being blown away by the spectacle. These videos are so pure, please don't stop them!

I've never watched Star Wars properly, but this channel has made me start watching it(because I couldn't tell what was going on with the edited version). I've just watched ep 4,5,6 and 1; I can't wait to see them get to the 80's episodes.

Babu and Raeen might be interested to know that the line 'I have a bad feeling about this' (or the Hindi equivalent) appears somewhere in every Star Wars film. It's good to see Babr and Raeen maintain their interest in the series. They're definitely sharing the love of those of us who have known the films since 1977. Their shock at the murder of the Younglings is the same shock we all felt the first time we saw it. Babu is so right when he says that Palpatine played on Anakin's fears to mislead him. For those of us who saw the next movie first, this film explained how Anakin became Darth Vader. and it set up the situation that was in place at the beginning of the next film. I hope they like the next three films as much as they did the first three.

Like, do you want to conclude your experience of George Lucas' Star Wars story with a galactic celebration, and redemption, or a tragic fall and funeral? Lol

I think they’re more appreciative of the CGI and effects than fans were when this came out.

You could tell the old guy was getting emotional at times. He was totally invested.

It was so horrible how much joy Sidious gained from watching Vader suffer in hearing Padme was dead. Then you understand the Sith logic, to truly joy suffering, suffering of all, suffering for suffering's sake

The story of this episode is about prophecy and how Anakin's FEAR of the future that he saw was exactly what caused that future to happen - if he hadn't done all the things he'd done to try to stop it, he wouldn't have hurt Padme, and she wouldn't have lost hope, and wouldn't have given up fighting to live. Also, the bad Sith man Palpatine never wanted Shanti (Peace), he wanted Shakti (Power). I don't speak Hindi, so please forgive me if I made a mistake in translation

There was something really funny seeing the reaction to Dooku's execution, how that's meant to be a sign that Anakin is being twisted down a dark path by giving in to Palpatine and executing an unarmed, totally defenceless prisoner....and you guys are like "yeah, kill him, well done" 😂

What a great interpretation of the movie. They possibly never knew about Star Wars and knew nothing of the stories. Such a wonderful fresh take. I love their insight and thoughts on this trilogy. Especially one thought about Anakin never being able to have his children on his lap. I’m looking forward to episode IV.

It might also be interesting seeing the Gentlemen's reaction to some "making of" material - to at least show them some basic common fx technology. From models and puppets and matte paintings to makeup fx, blue screen and CGI. And heck - why not also a lesson about old fashioned 2D animation as well? Lord of the Rings has EXTENSIVE "Making Of" material that shows all the effort that went into those movies, for example. Captain Disillusion here on youtube does great explanations of visual trickery, the Corridor Crew as well... The way they made the lava is insane. That's physical effects.

@@Trazynn Yes, CGI wasn't "good enough" for what they wanted at the time I heard. And some of the elements in there are even real lava eruptions filmed at an actual volcano. As I wrote - I find it fascinating how many elements and how much work can go in such scenes. And each time a director asks for something that hasn't been done before it gets really interesting...

They did George Lucus proud!! He made the STAR WARS film that even people from a village from a poor land could understand them and gain the insight and message from them!!

BABU cheered for DEW IT 😜 But I love how he instantly regrets supporting palpatine’s final decision lol 😂 just like anakin

When Annakin swears allegiance to Palpatine, the look of despair from both of you, were as if you had lost a dear friend, so immersed I almost expected tears. Very Compelling Indeed

These two are among my favorite people in the world.

I hope Badshah has a chance to catch up and watch this one on his own. Better yet, his own reaction

this is one of the best reactions to EP III and I couldnt understand one word they said. But i enjiyed their enjoyment of a classic film now.

I think it would be great if they reacted to the Obi Wan Kenobi show as well before starting the original trilogy. They'd get to see the full transformation of Anakin in chronological order! "Now he's as ferocious as a wounded lion..."

Everything Disney did is unnecessary side content. The story of Star Wars can be perfectly understood from watching the original 6 movies.
