I kept waiting for them to realize who Annakin was through all of episodes one and two and I have to remind myself that they've only ever seen the other movies once, and that's it. I think it's great that they didn't. They got a second "I'm your father" moment and their reaction was fantastic.

Yes. They didn't connect the references to Anakin in Episode 4, which allowed them to be surprised by Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader in this one. The other "Villagers React" show showed all the episodes in chronological order, which has different surprises. Both ways have their advantages. I hope they can watch Solo. And Andor is also important, but the series is not yet complete - it would be great if they could watch all of Andor before watching Rogue One - but the final season of Andor is still a year away.

@@Beery1962 Watching the prequels first is just stupid, if nothing for QoL effect of watching a very old episode after a modern one but there are many other reasons like the Anakin turning into Vader is not as much as a surprise as "I'm your father" as it gets spoiled by the chancellor. @@markmuller7962 If you've never heard of Darth Vader, it's definitely a surprise that Anakin turns in Episode 3, if you watch them chronologically. That's how it was for the villagers from React 2.0. Then it's even a surprise that the chancellor is evil. Actually, Sheev being evil is probably a surprise no matter which order you watch them in, because that's something that was only ever mentioned in the book. There are no obvious clues in the movies, except for Episode 3. It's just that it's such a well-known fact within the Star Wars community that people take that knowledge for granted, not realizing that it's news to any newcomer. But the biggest thing of all is that you have no idea who makes it into the OT, which obviously amplifies the prequels, making them actually worthwhile. If you start with the OT, you know that Sheev, Obi-Wan, Yoda and Anakin survive anything that came before. So where are the stakes if you then head into the prequels? You can easily deduce that every new face will die somehow, so it's spoiled from the get go. That's not the case with chronological order. George even confirmed that you are supposed to watch them 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and then 6. Now, is there a certain charm to watching them in release order? Sure, but it's down to taste. I prefer chronological order, even for newcomers. If you add Rogue One, that's 7 movies with Sheev being the big bad before finally succumbing, making Episode 6 even more epic. And then you can spoil everything with the sequels but that's another matter.

The double climactic lightsaber duel that takes place toward the end of the movie, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader VS Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar and Yoda VS Emperor Palpatine on Coruscant in the Senate chamber are top notch across the board. I cannot imagine how tense, emotional, shocking, etc. it must have been for these two to see this movie for the first time without knowing what most of us grew up knowing in America. It must have been AMAZING to experience this movie in that way. It was so satisfying to see them finally be able to make the connection when Sidious deemed Anakin "Darth Vader" and see them realize that he is the father of LUKE AND LEIA!! Aghhhh this was so so so so good. THANK YOU !! I love how they realized that if Anakin had not gone down this dark side, Padme would've survived. This is SO TRUE. Anakin's own fear of loss is what actually made his nightmare a reality. If Anakin had resisted the fear, and followed the Jedi way, all the events would not have unfolded in the way they did and Padme would not have died of heartbreak 😓💔 ... self-fulfilling prophecy 😓💔 Wow wow wow wow ... It was the experiments with the Force by Darth Plageuis that caused Anakin's virgin birth (remember, Anakin's mother said there was no father, she just became pregnant.) Darth Sidious was the apprentice of Plageuis, and Sidious is Palpatine. So, when Palpatine encountered Anakin during the events of "The Phantom Menace," he would likely have been pleasantly surprised to find he was standing face to face with the result of Plageuis' meddling with the midicholorians. This is why he became Anakin's mentor and groomed him to become his greatest apprentice.

They were even saying they had a connection with everyone and were happy to see the whole story. Thank you so much for showing it to them. This was my favorite reaction so far. I really loved watching this with them and they caused me to feel everything I felt when I first saw it. I saw an interview with George Lucas, and he was asked in what order people should see these. He said they should absolutely be seen in the order in which they came out. Starting with Star Wars and ending with Revenge of the Sith was particularly great for Mansoor and Naveed in my personal opinion, because they forgot the name of Anakin. So it was one big shocking surprise after another as the story unfolded. They had suspected Palpatine had bad intentions. And seeing them realize he was The Emporer, along with Anakin being Vader, Luke and Leia, etc.. it was just so great seeing all their reactions. I would very much love for them to see Braveheart. I think they would really enjoy it. Wow, sorry this was so long! I guess I really was super excited after seeing this and their reactions Thank you again! Til the next time…

In order to have a red saber the crystal that is inside the hilt has to first be bleed. A Sith or dark Jedi would have to pour all their pain and anger into the crystal and if done correctly the crystal would turn red. Kylo Ren's blade in the sequels cracked during this process due to the conflict he was feeling which is why his blade flickers when ignited and has the two exhaust blades coming from the sides of the hilt, so it does not explode. If the crystal was to be healed, it would then turn white. Ashoka did this to get the two white sabers she carries now in shows like the Mandalorian and Ashoka after healing the crystals she took from an inquisitor's blade.

Obi-Wan was said to be not just a master of form 3 of lightsaber combat but the master. Form 3 relies heavily on defense and waiting for the right moment to get a hit. While it is a great form to use it does have some disadvantages all it takes is for someone to get past the defense that is set up by a form 3 practitioner to end the fight. Count Dooku displayed this both in episode 2 and episode 3 when he was easily able to defeat Obi-Wan. Count Dooku was a master of form 2 which is the form of lightsaber combat based off of real life fencing.

The newest 3 (Episode 7-9) are nothing like the Star Wars movies they know. But, there are TV shows that would help them far more, and I will endeavor to find the Clone Wars TV series in either spoken Urdu or with Urdu subtitles, unless there is a regional language that would be preferable to them. Let me know if there is a better language option for them.

It was amazing that you guys realized who Anakin really would become in real-time! Everyone in the USA knew who Anakin would become during all 3 prequel films, and there was no real surprise when he turned to the dark side, so I'm glad for your surprise.

How do you NOT realize Vader is Anakin already in episode 1 as soon as you hear the name ANAKIN Skywalker? They say it several times in episode 4-6

Finally after all the reactions I have watched someone has finally seen that it was Vader not Anakin that killed everyone after the events that occurred in Palpatine's office. So many reactors still refer to Vader as Anakin.

The upcoming movies are not written/produced by the same person who wrote/produced episodes 1-6. A lot of people - including me - think most of them are very bad. But Rogue One is pretty good, though.

was waiting for this. AMAZING! Although in my humble opinion I hope you don't show them the sequel trilogy with Rey, that will ruin the whole thing. The original movies and the prequels are the essence of Star Wars. They got everything they need from these. Maybe if you want to go into the Mandalorian series or Clone wars series with them that would be good. But I dont think you guys do TV series on the channel.

The cough was caused by a confrontation before the events of episode 3 with Mace Windu. Fun fact all the coughing heard is a recording George Lucas made of himself while he was dealing with a case of bronchitis.

Yoda knew order 66 was going to happen. In one of the clone wars episodes, he gets a premonition about it and does nothing to stop it. The Jedi even find out about the chips after one malfunctions and ends up with one of the clones going order 66 too soon.

The amount of foreshadowing/irony in this and Ep: 2 is incredible. Love between Padme and Anakin would destroy them. Obi Wan saying Anakin would be the death of him. Anakin saying he was more powerful, and could overthrow the emperor. Episode 3 is definitely the saddest of the 6. But it makes Ep: 6 that much better knowing that Anakin redeems himself.
