@Al-Fares Al-Afghani Kandahar wasn’t built by Alexander that’s a myth and Herat isn’t even originally Pashtun land but Persian. DNA studies show you are wrong because Greek or Balkan dna isn’t detected in modern afghans. Not to mention afghans are extremely tribal and hardly ever marry from ethnic groups.

Thanks for the video. Brings back great memories. We were in Afghanistan in 1977, travelling overland from Herat through Qala-e-Naw, Bala Murghab, Maymana, Mazar-i-Sharif and down to Kabul. We took a further trip up to Bamyan and the wonderful Bande-i-Amir. I feel blessed that back in 1977 we were able to see the Buddahs and were able to climb up to the top to rest a while on the head and take in the wonderful countryside. Bamyan was certainly a lot smaller than it is now, just a main street full of hotels, tea-houses and restaurants - a real tourist hot-spot.
