A fabulous place with such welcoming people. I live here and I’m Australian. My wife and I have a villa and my wife had massages and salon visits all with her $100 Aus a week housekeeping budget.

Nice Benny, however in my opinion the display villa falls short of original 3D concept images of 2020 that appeared lush and beautiful. Perhaps weather delt you a blow as interiors were dark in tone or color required tweaking, whatever. Keen to view progress on Jon's Tampa Hills home. 🙏

super nice place however Lombok is still pretty volatile i'm sure, wasn't that long ago pirates came up and robbed everyone at gun point including locals at desserts. Obviously this a bit different location further east and inland slightly but Lombok in general has such a different and more aggresive vibe in general. Roads look a lot better since Ive been back. So many new developments. Driving to Mawi from Kuta used to me a mission in its own and Grupuk with its locals wilding machetes as you drove in.. hahaha. That aggressive vide seems to disappear when you get to Sumbawa. Good luck! Beautiful for sure and still can't believe how developments are popping up so fast.

@@WeiFinder haha possibly they do carry them everywhere. I believe someone from Kuta stole something. Pretty much everyone was at the village entrance with their machetes out waving them in the air. Might of just been them practicing vegetable chopping...

Sad to hear you've experienced that but I'm sure those robbers are not from Lombok, there's many robber were caught and they are mostly not from the island. As for the locals wielding machetes, that's what elderly male loves to carry probably for self defense purposes especially around kuta area since it was once a very unsafe place up until all these developments happened. Central Lombok is less developed than East and West Lombok that's why their locals still retain their "ancient" mindset. Central Lombok also has the most criminal cases towards foreigners compared to other regencies in Lombok based on some articles I've read. And sorry for my English, it's not my first language hehehe

@@kesunekun1531 that time they were from Kuta Lombok, they knew who it was. The pirates, yeah not from there, they just came up on the beach at night, wasn't there but friends were. Obviously if the swell is pumping that's not too much of an issue haha. Grupuk and kuta have their issues that's for sure. I wouldn't hesitate to come back though. I usually head to other spots since the crowds are so bad over there. Mawi used to be 2 or 3 guys out 👌, thst was 2011/12/13 so not so long ago, kinda.

All of those breakfast options would be awesome. Would have a hard time to choose, lol.
