Very informative short on the end. I tried using due to others on KZread recommendation. I had to stop because I felt it was adding to the mineral build up and burning roots. Also stopped the cal mag and super thrive. Comments below also helped in understanding this better. It makes sense using at repotting and reviving roots. May consider it then.

I won't be adding it on any regular basis but will use it at repotting and to help struggling orchids.

I’d love another. I had one years ago. No blooming either. I am convinced they are not for amateurs.

I use Kel Pac seaweed extract. I use a small amount 10-20 ppm about 3x per month. Roger ...AOS announced First Rays has a great sale on KelPac Seaweed Extract now. Highly recommend

Exactly 😊, there are times when it's very helpful, like early spring when root production is waking up and perhaps times when stress has occurred like a welcome to my home when it first arrives or post repot. It's more difficult to burn roots with it than normal fertiliser but not a good idea to use too much because òf the strange effects of too many hormones. Get some fresh stuff and giving it a go when you turn your lights back on sounds like a good idea 👍

Maybe. (First Rays is in the States - not much use in the UK)

With the Den. I also believe that it needs to be 4 -5yrs old before flowering but no ref. to Nth Qld can be found. Re seaweed most people in Au that talk about it is used at 20ppm no more than once a month.

I've ordered some and will start using it when I bring the lights back on.
