I am honored to have your comments. I respect the soldiers regardless of country or age. Sometimes our activities, might be uncomfortable to the Veteran and family. However, I am in it to reproduce the soldiers, want to honor them. Thank you.

Great video. You guys look like a really good reenactment unit. The only thing I suggest is attaching your Lightweight Rucksack bags in the high position on the frames, The GIs found out early that having it "Low" as seen in the Field Manual was uncomfortable but having it up high was better. high and tight. Otherwise great unit, great video, Thanks!!!

Where are you guys based out of?

I was with the 4th as an RTO 1969-70. We were in the central highlands. Contrary to rumors no one smoked anything in the field let alone dope. Charlie could smell that stuff seemed like a mile away. Also pot worked on your reflexes and you’d get yourself and your friend killed. The only pot I saw over there was being used by basecamp commandos. Charlie didn’t dress like that and he didn’t eat that good either. I’m sure you guys are having more fun than we actually did. I’m also sure your intentions are good. Just stop relying on Hollywood for your details.

This spoon was attached to MCI-Ration. It is sometimes shown in the picture. He answered "to eat soon".
