Wow, it scared the shit out of me when the gunfire erupted, I was wearing earbuds, and it was so much louder than the other audio, I love how you managed to capture how loud gunfire is, I have been trying in my films and it hasn't been like that yet!

The best thing about this is the costumes. I dont know how you did it but you got these kids in legit Vietnam War fatigues and those rifles are legit good looking. Also great job with the gun fire from the rifles.

I don't know what other units did but we taped our straight clips together end on end. You empty the one, take it out, flip it over and insert a full clip. Saves time. Precious time. 173rd airborne.

Pretty well made, good job! My 2 complaints are the black flashed between almost every clip were very distracting and the characters could say a little bit more to make the audience care about them. Not like cliche "I'm going home tomorrow" or "I'm gonna get married" just small talk, like more of the bater at the water to make them feel more like people.

I appreciate that you want to make a veitnam short film but i study the veitnam war canceipt and all looks inaccurate for the time and the drills and the fact there is only 3 wheres their platoon also no helecopter sounds like that in the war the uh-1 Bell huey Iroquois, the Chinuk, the jolly green, non that are historicaly in the war for the Army or Marines

The youngers recorded serviceman to serve in Vietnam was PFC, Dan Bullock. USMC. He Was KIA June 7, 1969. He was 15 years old.

There are child soldiers in every war. To mount an effective defense at Kursk against the Nazis took *everyone* who could swing a shovel, for example. As for 'Murica, we send children to fight rich men's wars all the time. Too young to drink or vote but old enough to die. It's a crime. It really is. We need a better way to fight wars. Like through diplomacy.

They did not really use trigger discipline back In Vietnam, they figured if your finger was on the trigger you would be ready to fire quicker. Obviously we know now that that is a big safety issue but you can see it in a lot of photos.
