Unprofessional, inappropriate and scary that people think this is okay. Little girls are not your best friends. He has an unhealthy relationship in his mind with these kids and he is satisfying a need for attention and admiration through these kids. On the surface it seems harmless but on a deeper level this is actually sick. I also know at those little girls age having a crush on a young looking teacher and having him give me access to “help” him do something as intimate as unbraid his hair… yeah as a teenage girl I would be dreaming about him every night and claiming him as “my man” in my mind. That’s teenage girls for you! of course the kids would not protest. So, It is for the teacher to understand boundaries.

She gave back reference meaning this teach has done things before and let school know. Also if the parents of the students in the video knew this was happening and ok with. Then who is she not to be ok with it. But if not she don't feel that's okay. That's why she said she is in the middle. Which means she is not with him on this if he did not get the permission of the parents and school.

So you send them to do their friends hair then? Honestly the teacher looks and seems gay and is just trying to be relatable to the girls. It works for him I am sure his class listens and learns because he is fun. Good teachers are hard to find let the man be a positive male role model. When I was in school I had a history teacher you would probably say he was a bully because a girl use to make fun of my big feet all the time and he told her infront of the whole class what size shoe do you wear? He told her leave Akaisha alone and worry about your own dusty shoes. I am 32 and that still makes me smile as a woman with size 13 feet who was made fun of for them even as an adult. Maybe a student in the class was being made fun of for having old braids or her braids not looking right so he was like lets show em you have something they dont skill. Unbraid my hair and braid it up real quick that will shut them up. Also how we know a student wasnt his neice or family friend kid and those are her friends and they see eachother all the time?

So with consent of parents and the awareness of employers, a teacher is fired and out of a job, and looked at as a sick person, because his braids were taken out, and people's opinions from the outside mind you, took this man's ability to provide for himself. Is it really this easy? I can show you 20 videos (right now) of girls taking out their female teachers hair online. How much do you want to bet that some teachers didn't even do the respectable thing, and get permission to post other people's kids online doing their hair. I'd like to see that waiver that states "I'd like to post a video of your daughter doing my hair online" but this dude had such a great relationship, it became normal. Like, literally no parent to this point had an issue with him and his bond with his kids. What now, does this help the kids? What does this kind of attention do because of some keyboard loud mouths, who have the power somehow to destroy the safety to trust in a teacher that cares of all the times that we're living in right now...nope you lose your job for doing a good job and having a good heart. Many children there are neglected on every side. It makes them easy targets for manipulation by adults who should know better. It's TOTALLY inappropriate for young girls to be stroking and touching the hair of an adult male teacher. There's a lot to consider like the fact that their fathers are likely not in the home. Making it more likely that they could be groomed or taken advantage of. A middle student of mine was sleeping with a 34 man. When we asked her mom to come in she dismissed it saying she was too busy with her newborn. The man was coming in her daughter's window. This type of behavior was very common and being ignored. If that man had an infectious scalp condition he could have easily transmitted it to the kids. Aside from that, he’s exploiting them for free labour. Those children obviously look up to him and he’s taking advantage of that admiration by making those girls feel like it’s a privilege to be doing his hair for free. The real prize is proximity to him, and he knows it. Some of those girls are probably crushing on him and instead of being the adult in the situation he’s taking advantage of it. If he wanted to reward them with some down time after the presentations, an appropriate alternative would have been letting them play an educational game or taking them to the computer lab for the remainder of class. Instead he decided to use them to make content for his TikTok. He’s blurring the lines that exist between students and teachers to gain cool points on TikTok, but this is at the detriment of the children. Some people are just stupid and paranoid, there is only one to the left or i have to go like 5 minutes straight.

The men's point is on point. Letting students touch you in any physical way nowadays is dangerous for your freedom and future let alone your livelihoods. I used to work at a school and it was a teacher who got accused by a little 2nd grader of touching her. But she was knowned to be a little liar and drama queen and meeting her mom you definitely would see how. I was in shock when 1st heard about it then other teachers and the other security guard there who knew better and was more in the situation told me he was innocent and she was lying. I was a friendly person and cared about showing kids love i didn't mind hugs but after that i stopped hugging and everything except fist bumps and daps. You gotta be careful and aware these days anything can be used against you even if you did no wrong and are lied on. It's sad because its almost as you gotta get a job or career where you can work alone and be to yourself somehow to avoid that like working overnight somewhere or be a delivery person or mail carrier like im about to do.

A lot of people are confusing "inappropriate" with "smeggsual" and because they don't see anything smeggsual in nature, they assume it's fine. No! This teacher's behaviour is inappropriate because it lacks boundaries and is an abuse of authority. Understand the difference. Because the teacher is in a position of authority, there are strict boundaries they must upheld as to not (whether purposefully or inadvertently) take advantage of the students. Why? Because the students may not feel safe to advocate for themselves. Imagine you are at work and your Director asks you to take out his braids (during work hours). How would you feel? Some may feel comfortable doing it, others may feel they have to do it, to keep their job. Unless they are hairdressers, in the eyes of the law, that Director would be seen as contributing to a toxic work environment and could be let go. BOUNDARIES! And that is how grooming easily takes place with people of authority. The authoritative figure uses their position to build trust and emotional connection by slow pushing someone’s boundaries until before you know it, you can’t tell that you’re even being taken advantage of, manipulated or exploited.
