    You seem like such a great person, thank you! I really appreciate your video. I definitely need to look further into all this. Im looking through reviews and recommendations for my expressive dance. I want something that can do both video n photos, capture fast action movements, and capture in low light… or when i get on the stage-- capture me on stage light!😇

    You have a great filming set up, I need to upgrade my set up but that's a hefty price for a good dslr, lens, mic, accessories, etc.. Although just a gopro hero 10 with the media mod attachment is pretty good too though for the price. Most the work comes down to filming and editing skills because that's what makes the final footage look good is the cinematography & editing

    Again, this is a great video for dancers :) I really appreciate it, it's such a jewel! I wanted to ask you something, as you're one of the only people on KZread who actually has a video on dance video gear: I have been struggling to decide between two Sony camera models: The ZV-1 (mentioned in this video) and the ZV-E10 (An interchangeable lens model, released last year). The thing is the ZV-E10 has a severe rolling shutter effect, apparently due to the old 2012 sensor it has, so I don't know if it would be an issue in dance videos, specially 4k ones, due to the fact that dance videos involve people moving in a fast manner, side to side, left and right. What do you think? Do you think it would affect the rolling shutter would affect the image of the video? Sorry again for bothering you and thank you!

    I grabbed a glass of wine. Was that okay? Anyway, this was a great video. I'm a professional videographer but I was curious about what camera is actually best for dancing and you made some very good points with the Sony A7. The Sony A7r iii have been one of my favorite camreas I worked with

    If you got the extra cash, I can recoemmed the A7R V. Its a photo camera but its AI-autofocus was a gamechanger to me. Plus 8K lets you reframe so much in post. You just cant use it handheld. On a cheaper price point I think the A7CII is like a mini A7IV with AI-autofocus.

    The reason I don't film on my phone is because battery, storage and I don't have the tripod for it. I can get maybe 2 min video then my phone storage is full and often the phone stops recording while i'm dancing and it's ruined a lot of my videos. Having an iphone also means that if your icloud is full then your videos won't actually go into icloud and you cannot take videos off phone onto external hardrives for storage when icloud is full. And icloud is weird because often even when I clear delete files from it, my phone still doesn't always backup to icloud and then the videos get stuck on my phone and it's just really annoying technical issues I have with phones. When it comes to reliability that's the main reason I avoid it, it's not reliable for me but the quality is definitely nice. But to be fair I have an old phone it's not the newest model and it only has like 16g storage which is really really bad lol

    I'm always wondering in what FPS you film dance? 25fps? 50fps? I I've in a PAL region ... or do you use 25fps and break the 180 rule and over shutter?

  • @infinitales1

    I want to shoot dance videos which includes fast moves Does zve-10 good for that I don't want to invest on other lenses for now My major concern is about, it has limit of 30 fps, and I don't know about that, to capture fast moves 30 fps good or not Also i am going to use keyframing which means i am going to zoom it also. And I don't know, after zoom, how much reduction of quality happens And there is also sale on i phone 14 now 🥹 And i am confused 😢

    While shooting a dance video, what should be the minimum and maximum shutter speed and what should be the frame rate. Please do reply. from india

  • @BryceKoebel

    @BryceKoebel

    9 ай бұрын

    I will make a video about this! But the rule is 180° or 2x the frame rate. If your frame rate is 24fps then you shoot 48, or closest to it which is 50. But you can turn up your shutter speed because this can show more details. It’s up to you!

  • @BryceKoebel

    Yeah it depends on how much space you have. I find the 20mm to be plenty on full frame. The 16mm for crop sensor is also plenty
