Video 23 restoration of lancaster NX611 year two

Visiting Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, year two of the restoration is nearing completion. The Lancaster will be doing taxi runs to help with the restoration cost till November when year three will start.

    The archivist for there died on the 21st of October. I knew him as a very close friend 21st October was his birthday (he was 70) RIP Mark Francis Chandler 21st October 1949 - 21st October 2019

    Humpty Dumpty to take it apart and make it airworthy and then put it back on ready for when they finally put it through inspection for airworthiness

    After a number of WW2 aircraft had their wings fall off over here during flight killing everybody on board, all bombers of that era were grounded until inspections were carried out. Wing root bolts were all replaced whether damaged or not. My term of usage of "weak" indicates that there is enough possible suspicion of "weakness" to split the aircraft. Otherwise, why do it. Is this a known weakness in this aircraft?

    Why are there no chocks on startup ?, that's an elementary mistake also the videoing and editing is of poor quality, there are many vloggers on here who could do you far better quality results.

    AvionicsGuru you seem to be in a minority here. All of the comments on these videos are positive and everyone on the project(s) love the videos Nev produces and generously shares here on KZread. The chocks are removed and brakes applied prior to start as standard procedure as outlined by the insurance company and in 20 years there hasn’t ever been a problem using this method.
