Hey man, fellow XT250 guy here. Thanks for all your videos, greatly appreciated. I thought I should share a couple of successes I have had: First win: Shinko 700 tires are great. They are as good as the original tires for bush, but WAY better and WAY quieter on the street, including wet pavement. I dropped the pressure to 10 PSI on the rear for bush, and it was amazing. Sizes are 4.60-18 rear and 3.00-21 front. I will never go back to stock. Second win: 16 tooth front sprocket is AMAZING. The only one I know of is a Sunstar, see this link: www.reddit.com/r/xt250/comments/cd67ma/sprocket_found_16_tooth_sprocket_for_xt250_2013/

I've about worn down the D606 rear so am starting to look for a rear tire -- I'll check out the Shinko 700, thanks. I run a 3.00-21 on front now, the IRC TR8 Battle Rally and I like that much better the the D606 I had on the front. Off to read the 16 tooth thread. :-) Thanks for the comment my XT250 brother, ride on!

@@XT250allday Those IRC TR8's look pretty similar to the stock Bridgestone tires, similar block concept. The Shinko 700's will be way quieter. They won't perform in mud as well, but that's about the only drawback, and it never stopped me, I did crazy crap in mud a few times. Luckily it isn't very common in my area, mostly rocky, sand and gravel.

@@exploder69 Well the IRC TR8 is pretty new so I'll be rolling with that for a bit, but I'm about to start shopping for a replacement rear ... getting squirrelly back there!
