+John Wright Thanks John. Now that my workbench is free after my recent woodwork tasks I hope to get back into the swing of things and get the model finished! Conor.

What is the purpose of the offset of the engine?

+assymcgee1 hi, when the propeller is spinning it has a tendency to spin the plane in the opposite direction. Angling the engine slightly off centre generates side thrust to counteract this effect. Most plans will specify how much side thrust is needed.
