Great review, Joel! I picked up a pair of the tunnels and 3-finger during the early release and they already show shipped!!

If I were to do it again I might go 3 finger just so they would stay a little better on the rings...and I could still just flip the grip on top of the pull-up bar

So I measured like the site said. Middle finger to first crease under palm. And I’m barely over 8 inches. So 2XL. That seems huge... my last pair of just leather ones were L. What do you measure at and what size did you buy?

I got a 3 hole pair xl and it feels like they might be too big. I used them twice during a workout. My hands were hurting so much after a while. Is this normal? I tried following the instructions on how to wear them with the dowel. Do I need to break them in more?

I don't think the box owner is gonna appreciate that water mess...joking aside. Solid video, had the Alec Smith grips on my radar for my next fingerless grips but you may have swayed me to these. Between those two would you say the wrist support/cushion is on par, or one better than the other?
@AMRAP

Lucky I know the box owner pretty well, haha. I think the weakest link of the Alec grips is that the wrist wrap is way too big, it ends up digging hard into the base of my palm with or without the pads it comes with. Grip is good, but mainly only for bar work...but it's still not as good as the tacticals. Those grips are thicker so theres a little more cushion, but theres more friction on your hands because of the leather. For me, it's no contest...tacticals are a go.

What would you say are the differences between these and the X2s?
@AMRAP
4 жыл бұрын
Besides the shapes, everything material wise. The X2's are a (vegan) leather alternative grip, they're more cushioned but don't provide nearly as much grip. For a synthetic though, they're one of the better ones. The reason you would buy the X2's is mainly just comfort.
