What was so wonderful about her, and what set her apart, was that, however clever her songs were, she never seemed to be saying "look at me, aren't I clever?". There was a great humanity about her humour, which invited us all to share in it. She was very special. R. I. P.

I feel exactly the same way! I heard the news of her passing on the day she died, I was so sad I couldn't stop crying! (She's my favourite comedian) When I woke up the day after I just wanted to stay in bed because I was so upset! (Yes you might think that's sad) 62years of age and no one knew she was ill… I just can't get over the fact that she's died! Been watching her sketches and comedy ever since I found them, and will continue to do so… only now it will be bittersweet knowing she's no longer shining her light in this world, but another one instead, and that we only have the fantastic comedy and hilarious memories left :( 💔 xx

Look at her face at 1:09 after dropping 2 racial slurs in her first 2 lines- she was a comic genius! The reason people get in trouble for 'non-PC' jokes isn't because we're all too sensitive- it's because it's incredibly hard to do well, and lazy comedians try to get the shock value without earning it with an intelligent payoff. What a legend.

Helen B, I say what I feel. There is too much extraneous censorship. I'm surprised that some liberal language nazi hasn't had a rant about the first two lines. It seems to me that people like that are far more indignant than those who are actually mentioned. Suppression of free speech has made many people fearful of opening their mouths. Today's "comedians" can only make unfunny, repetitive and juvenile gags about the right-wing in this country and others. The left has no real sense of humour, they can't accept any joke made against them. They take themselves far too seriously, and they seem to think their fame entitles them to lecture the rest of us on what we should feel and say. russell brand, eddie izzard, (lower case deliberate) I could name a dozen more. Waste of oxygen, the lot of them.
