Victoria to Vancouver Seaplane Ride - Flying into Coal Harbour

In this video, we take a beautiful seaplane ride from Victoria to Vancouver's Coal Harbour. It is an absolutely beautiful flight taking off in Victoria's Harbour, and flying over the water and lush green islands, before descending into Coal Harbour with all of the beautiful buildings and boats passing by. It was a truly memorable experience. If you are travelling to Vancouver or Victoria make sure to give a seaplane ride a try!

That's so cool! We really enjoyed our flight from Victoria to Vancouver as it saves so much travel time, and we were able to walk to the hotel when we landed. It certainly also saves on an Uber ride or taking the bus. Cheers from Athens, Greece :)

Cool flying to Vancouver on a seaplane! It was nice to see the skyscrapers from the harbour. Looks like the city is planned so that it;s not totally blocked off from view as it is in Toronto where they are all side by side. Thanks for taking us along for the flight:)

In Vancouver they have "protected view corridors" so that there are sightlines from different areas of the city to the mountains and water. You can look up some streets and see mountains in the distance which is so nice. They are really serious about planning there.

Here's some interesting facts: 5:36 Shows one of 2 Cessna Grand Caravan's that harbour air operates C-FLHA that one is a dedicated seaplane while the other is known as a "amphibian" seaplane with wheels and that one does the vancouver-seattle route and is C-GHAN also at 6:13 the twin otter shown C-GHHA before harbour air brought it that plane was involved in a VERY SERIOUS accident in Népal back in 2017 it was disassembled and delivered to calgary in 2019 in a sea container where it was rebuilt and sold to harbour air who did final modifications at their base at Vancouver international south terminal before it entered service in Febuary 2020
