Victoria's Wild East

This is part 1 of my series on the far east of Victoria. This relatively little known corner of the state is one of the most exciting destinations anywhere in the country. And yet, it's many attractions are still a secret. This journey starts in the delightful beachside town of Mallacoota where I explore the many natural attractions around town. Its biggest drawcards are the Mallacoota Inlet and Croajingolong National Park.

"Last unbroken forest wilderness"? Croajingolong National Park 883.6 km². Guy Fawkes River National Park in NSW is 1,006 km². The Wollemi National Park is 5,017 km². There are national parks throughout the Blue Mountains, nothing but pure wilderness. What about the western side of Tasmania? I am not sure what you mean by last unbroken forest wilderness?
