It is odd that so many people in these videos don’t seem to want to take the advice they should know they will get, so why seek it out? (Though I think this guy is less deluded than most). I have to believe that in a lot of cases it’s another way to get attention, same way they are paying to get attention from an imaginary fake girlfriend or boyfriend.

Also a previous abuse victim. Sadly, being a prior victim makes you likely to be one again in the future. You'd think you know how to look for the red flags, but really all it means is you are easier to blind to slightly lighter colored red flags. As long as it never got as bad as the woman who was emotionally and physically abusive, he wouldn't ever notice it was bad.

When a person can't speak to you or video chat to you, it's time to close the book and move along. These are red flags that people should come to release because if the scammer dont want to reveal his or her identity, then you better wake up big time. Social media is wonderful, but it's at the same time very, very dangerous. Be safe, people.

Right? Ladies, reverse image your profile pics from your socials. I found 8 fake accounts using one of my photos and 11 using another. I found out bec I got an angry message on fb that I owed some guy money. I felt so bad for him but he knows now. Only thing was, he actually tried to convince me to “send him his money back”- that I never received. 🙄. Some ppl are a brick wall.
