I absolutely love Vicky and I’m absolutely excited to see how for they take her character. I really hope she moves to the street with Betsy . I love a lot of Vickys past roles too, she’s definitely going to become a firm favourite to so many 🙂

In The US they have a Channel called The Locher Room where a former Executive Producer of Guiding Light & it's Sister Show As The World Turns (previously under the Proctor & Gamble Empire) do inteviews with all kinds of folks from Soap Operas many of which are not on the air. Vicky Myers is in the same boat that Orlagh Cassidy was in. On Guiding Light she had a recurring (Part Time Role) as Doris Wolfe Attorney General turned Mayor who was in The Closet but when the show went off the air in 2009 she came out to her Daughter Ashley and even bought her Girlfriend Jomanda Weekes a Bartender to a Friend's Wedding.

You got that right! They are smart to go slow just like with Natalia Rivera & Olivia Spencer on Guiding Light. They went from Enemies, then Frenemies then Friends Then Roommates then Co-Parenting Emma Spencer (Olivia's Daughter) then finally a Couple. The Reporter reminds me of the Man who does The Locher Room where he talks to Past Soap Opera Actors & Actresses and their lives on the show and afterwards. I would love for The Locher Room to interview Actors who are on Granchester, Gentleman Jack, Last Tango In Halifax & Downton Abbey who all got their start on UK Soaps.

I wasn’t very interested in her character until her scenes with Carla, I’m looking forward to finding out more about Lisa Swain😬☺️.

Great interview with Vicky congratulations to her on making the permanent cast, I hope you get Channique one day and if you could let us know I would love for you to pass a question on. Also this year I will be at the NTA red carpet in my own right for my world record achievments alongside some of the corrie cast. Hope to see you there Micheal.

I don't know how I feel about seeing Swain's personal life. The police interview scenes could lose their impact because we'll have seen her in her pyjamas or buying milk. She could feel less intimidating. Having that outside perspective, almost 4th wall break of a character without the same familiarity with our regulars, who does see Roy as a weird guy in his 60s without those rose tinted glasses has been so great to watch. And how do I feel about Swain being gay? It just feels like pick something out of the bag to make her interesting without much thought behind it. But I'm willing to change my mind when I see how it plays out :)
