Vicente Amigo es un creador, no es solo un genial intérprete, es un artista con todas las letras. Puede tocar las consabidas falsetas en cualquier palo, pero no lo hace porque va mucho más allá, va donde nadie ha ido, a ese lugar donde habita el duende, el sentimiento y la expresión. Maravilloso.

What I love about this is how he doesn't need a cajon player to bring out smooth natural authentic rhythms. They are just there. Crazy.

Vincente's tone and articulation is far better than Paco's was. Paco was cranked on coke for much of his career which made his playing rushed, his cadence agitated to the point that passion transmogrified into hysteria.

My opinion is that Mr. Amigo plays the guitar on the next level. Far beyond everything mankind has ever seen. That sound, composition and clean play. An uncompromising, unstoppable explosion of intellect and talent. A class of it's own. I think what i try to say is "Thank you Mr. Amigo".

Many years ago, I watched the 'Guitar legends: '92 Sevilla' and found the two inspirations that drove me into learning and loving the guitar after nearly 15 years. Vicente Amigo and Joe Satriani. My life has never been the same.

The greatest of all times, hands down. Unmatched creativity, sound, beauty, subtlety, sense of composition, songs and albums.

This is the best bulerias recently composed. There are a lot of flamenco guitarist but most of them turn around a circle with their compositions. We hear similar things. I think Vicente is the real and most important flamenco guitar composer after Paco De lucia. Even tomatito is not that creative lately. Anyway, a great bulerias of a great guitarist is inspired us!

@@AntonioBrandao I just listened to that one - it's amazing too. A bit more modern and jazzy than this one. This one keeps the rhythm prominent without having a cajon player too.

I could play 6 hours a day for a decade and never come close! Absolutly amazing, nothing less!

Master of the master. It’s not only because he is an incredible guitarist with ridiculous skills but he is my favorite composer of all time even more than Paco. His melodies are different from another world.

te tiras un buen rato viendo guitarristas de la nueva generación, buenísimos todos, con una técnica increíble... Y a la que vuelves a poner un vídeo del maestro te das cuenta de que hay una cosa que no se puede practicar y lo tiene el que lo tiene. Pura poesía flamenca, siempre haces que se remueva algo por ahí dentro que no se puede explicar con palabras... Gracias por tanto Vicente.

Es la pieza más bonita por bulerias que haya escuchado en mi vida. Me transmite lo que ningún otro guitarrista me puede transmitir. Gracias maestro por esta medicina.

Now you know there are far better players; it doesn't mean you were wrong to like Yngwie, and comparing Flamenco to Yngwie's "Bach n Roll" is like comparing Michael Jordan's basketball accomplishments to free soloing El Cap; apples and oranges. Of course, Vicente is in my book, an almost infinitely greater musician, even though it is a silly comparison.

Una bonita frase hecha. Tiene su miga, si la analizamos. Nadie en el mundo toca igual que nadie, es lo primero que me sugiere. No está diciendo que sea el mejor, porque bien sabe Brouwer que eso no existe, no hay mejores ni peores, siempre irá en gustos, la música jamás será competición sino todo lo contrario, es comunicación, es arte. Vicente Amigo es genial, un gigante de la guitarra, un artista con todas las letras, de eso no me cabe la menor duda. En dos palabras, me apasiona. Y bueno, puestos a decir frases en esa dirección te voy a decir una, Marin Bianchi: No hay nadie en el mundo que sepa más de música que Brouwer, y de ésto tampoco me cabe la menor duda. ;)
