I never would’ve guessed him off the top of my head, but he really is a perfect guest for this series. He has TONS of experience, he’s a very entertaining personality, and despite being a household name across the globe, he’s still cool enough to hang out on a couch with some youtubers.

I feel like it's...stage theatre blocking...on steroids And blocking in theatre is hard to begin with so I totally get it and sympathize with how hard that can be (especially when your scene partner isn't there! not having physical cues is so difficult)

for me its been tragic. I'm actually a day one hater... Been subbed for years just so I could hope to laugh at every video that has 3x more dislikes than likes. I just live to see others fail really. So anyhow as you can imagine i have not had even one chance to laugh evilly at their failure. So yea hopefully these guys screw up or something soon...ide really like if things could start picking up for me here soon in the hater world. Been pretty dead recently. It's really amazing how much knowledge Niko and the crew have also. Niko has not worked on huge Hollywood budget films but he seems to know so much stuff about all kinds of effects, you'd think he's been working on them his whole life!

I’m legit shocked how good he is on this show. When he showed up the first time, I was like “I don’t know…” but two great shows in a row prove this isn’t a fluke.

Seth Rogen to Corridor Crew is exactly what Macaulay Culkin is to Red Letter Media. It seems weird and counterintuitive, but fits perfectly.

I love how much Seth embraces internet culture compared to most Hollywood stars he really showed up and credited our boys on teaching him stuff about CGI! Absolute legend and look forward to seeing even more of him if possible :)

Ryan Reynolds is another one of the actors who have cracked the nut of internet culture. His KZread channel is also so awesome.

I'm 37 years old, and not an artistically minded person. I've had an idea for a video project for years now, but never pursued it. This channel has helped inspire me to go back to school to study film to make my project a reality. I've learned so much, and enjoyed even more, from watching what Corridor puts out. So when someone like Seth Rogen learns from these guys like I've been trying to, it really means a lot. I accept that nothing I do will ever be on their level, but I'm genuinely thankful for these guys.

These shows have actually made me appreciate Seth Rogen more... Always thought he was alright but that the stoner comedy stuff was a little old, these have shown him to be a good producer with a great technical mind for VFX

Seth needs to be a mainstay on this show. His laugh cracks me up plus he's got good insights.

Of course, the only time someone has recognized Tony Hawk and it’s when he’s acting as a stunt double. The one job where you’re supposed to *not* recognize him.

Yeah these 2 episodes with Seth has totally elevated my respect for him and his craft.

I love how Seth is running the show this time. Usually the guests are included and add great extra insight, but here, it really feels like Seth is the host, while Wren and Niko are the guests. It's amazing how much he has to tell and it's such a pleasure to see a man who loves what he does, just go on in great detail about interesting production decisions

This is awesome

Mad props to Seth for connecting with his audience and be as curious as we are, genuine.

Man, Seth is the coolest. His appearances on this show have really taken my appreciation for him to the next level

I've always liked Seth, but listening to his approach on taking what he has, and making it work to achieve what they need, instead of dwelling over all that he could do if he "only had more", really makes me respect his work ethics all the more.

I feel like he is super genuine in being there and actually wants to diversify his knowledge as well as others and it's such a great fit. Looking forward to more with him or anyone that shows the same passion!

Omfg this just made me realize why people have asked me if we surf to school in Hawaii. It was just so out there that someone would even joke about using a surfboard as a mode of transportation, let alone be a semi-genuine question (along with the classic, "Do you wear grass skirts?"). It never dawned on me that I've seen people using it as transportation in a movie. I just assumed it was big enough of a thing in populous cities to not be so confusing to people but I'm sure I don't know a LOT of legitimately true things about Texas even though we have cowboys here lol.

It's honestly so freakin cool to see you guys having gone from old school YT getting the occasional viral VFX video, to simply trying out a new type of video on a whim, only to have it sky rocket you into the stratosphere getting you to this insane point, with no sign of stopping. It's also dope as heck that the success of this series has enabled you guys to try new concepts and put out some truly creative experimental videos.

If you’re looking for really masterful foreign animation (french): -Kirikou and the sorceress -Azur et Asmar Incredible colour work, beautiful use of both 3D and 2D

It's nice to see a celebrity do a collaboration with a KZread channel where they actually seem so interested and keen on discussing the subject matter.

100% you can tell Seth just loved the show and watched it and called them up and was like, "Can I be on this??" Rather than it being a press tour his agent put him up to.

Yea I wish more of them did stuff like this. Instead you see celebs worth $100million dollars doing advertisements… I really don’t understand why more of them don’t just decide they have enough money and start doing stuff for fun. There are a few out there, like Joseph Gordon Levitt, he started Hitrecord to allow people to collaborate on art projects together as a community, and he pretty much exclusively does hollywood movies to fund his own movie or to help keep Hitrecord running. Rick Moranis was another one, he hit it big and then decided to leave the industry to raise children. Dave Chapelle quit the chapelle show went to africa and would randomly appear at small comedy shows. Theres that one legendary video where he was just talking to the audience for like 5hours straight about current events, and somehow was cracking jokes the entire time.

Imagine how easy American pickle would have been if Seth had a twin.

11:34 “leaning into our limitations” I absolutely love that mindset. It creates unique and memorable things and I’m so glad to hear directors talk like that.

Another show where the same actor does multiple characters in one shot (up to around 5 sometimes!) is Orphan Black, I'd love to see that on this series too!

Yeah! It's crazy what they could do on a TV budget, paired with how good Tatiana Muslanny is at all the characters, it was so easy to forget they were all the same actress. The only time i think it failed was the dance scene at the end of season 4.

Seth has grown into being one of the most interesting producer/director/writers working today.

I love how you can tell he genuinely watches this show, because he uses the same technical language as you guys, which combined with his producer/director insight makes for a very interesting perspective.

I love how knowledgeable and smart Seth is about the movie producing universe, I could watch this series with him forever

Bad Neighbors was so enjoyable. Loved seeing how he did the chair scene.

I legit didn’t realize until watching this that Seth played both roles in an American pickle haha. Like they are obviously both Seth, but it was so seamless that I just got immersed. Probably because i kept getting lost in that magnificent beard

It's official I'm addicted! I would love to see some of the first season Buffy VFX broken down! They are so wonderfully bad and dated.

One movie I'd like you guys to cover is "Kong Fu Yoga". It stars Jackie Chan and is his highest grossing Chinese movie ever and it has some awful high budget CGI integration. There is a Lion in a car scene that is just hilariously terrible

Easy now everyone. The movie was originally a colab between and a Chinese and an Indian production company, but then the Indian company backed out for certain reasons during production. Those reasons may be quite obvious to informed observers

Mr Rogen's comments reminded me that I'd love to see a retrospective of the vfx on Star Trek - from TOS all the way through the Kelvin timeline (although that might end up being too much for one episode).

I would love to see them speak about TOS, especially as for me, they were some of the first space effects where we actually got close up views and a sense of mass for the space ship. The Enterprise in TOS actually felt like a large ship in space, something that hadn’t really been achieved before imo.

There's just no way you can't appreciate Seth Rogen

The problem with the bee scene isn't CGI, it's the fact that he's screaming "they're in my eyes" with mouth wide open.

Having Seth Rogen there is such a great addition. He just seems like, so happy to be there with you guys and so into the efffects! And that Seth Rogen trademark laugh, LOL. Please keep inviting him back, he's so genuine and enjoyable with you guys on the couch :-D

He did the station stops and safety messages on our transit system... Specifically the Skytrain system here in Vancouver (his hometown). Was hilarious getting on the train and hearing him tell me about sharing space and such 😂

So much of film making is not on the screen in a good way. The skill to make the audience unaware that hundreds of people worked to make it appear that two people are in a scene in a time and place that no longer, if ever existed. Bravo.

Surf Ninjas uses surfboards as a mode of transportation to an island really well.

I'd love to see visual effects artists tackle Penn and Teller's Fool Us. Because technically all magic is just practical visual effects done live.

With the success of Squid Game, you should do an episode on some South Korean films and tv shows. The Host had some pretty cool creature effects and I really enjoyed the monsters in Sweet Home.
