Does this have enough power to do any serious polishing or correcting

Yes, Have done a lot of polishing & waxing with it & it has a lot of power. Probably not as much as a plug in at an auto body shop, but more than enough for anything you will do at home. As with any buffer, choosing the correct pad for the job is key. Do you have a buffer/polisher now? Thanks for dropping by & have a great day :) @RCInsiders

After you apply the wax and it dries, can you come back with the tool to wipe it? Is there a pad for that?

Hi, I prefer to remove the wax with a microfiber cloth by hand as it does a much better job. If you use the machine, use the least abrasive pad you can find. Possibly like a gray sponge. I have done it before & it is possible, but the hand method for wax removal will give you best results :) Do you have this buffer? Thanks for dropping by & have a great day!! @RCInsiders

Hi again, Thank you for your reply. I don't currently have the buffer , but i'm considering getting it. If I do, I'll try the handmethod with a micro fiber towel.

The head is not even rotating properly on the 1 Setting and still not rotating fast enough on the fastest setting. Thanks for your help on letting me know that this is not the one to buy for me.

Hi, Not sure what you mean. I have been waxing/polishing cars with it for 2 seasons now & it does an excellent job, especially for a cordless. What will you be doing with the buffer? Thanks for dropping by & have a great day :)

Unfortunately that's to light duty to do any correction at all, as a matter of fact it's going to stall under its own weight. I would spend a couple of extra dollars and buy something like the griots G9 polisher.

404, Do you have one of these cordless buffers? I applied ample pressure & it never stalled one time. I was able to do 2 full details on one charge & never once tripped over or got tangled in one single chord 🤪😂 Best cordless buffer I've had by far :) Thanks for dropping by & have a great day 😀 @RCInsiders

This thing is not really intended for corrections, and is not supposed to replace a heavy duty corded tool. Looks perfect for applying waxing and cleaning up headlights though, which is what I would like to do without tripping over a cord.

Hi The battery last for about an hour, depending on how you use it. We did 2 vehicles on one charge & didn't run out. It's a great machine to use :) Are you getting one? Thanks for dropping by & have a great day! @RCInsiders
