The problem with some new technician and some old technician nowadays is that them don't have a standard at all. nowadays unprofessional technician do a lot of short cuts once the technician get the appliance is working at any short cuts the technician will charge for them repair take your money and don't care if the appliance will work for long or burn down the appliance. I personally came across a lot of technician work I have to correct.
