Pretty cool ring roller. The toll could be scaled up for larger work too. The only suggestion I would make is to put the rollers in double shear to eliminate any deflection. I really like simple tools like that that can be made from project scrap. This is a good tool to teach fabrication skills to a newbie.

Hope this one is better than the one I just sent back. The shaft was so loose in the bushing that the drive gear would not stay in place against the cutter wheel. (ugly grinding noises and gear locking up!) Not sure how you tell the quality before you buy online. This did not post where I intended. It should have gone with the sheet metal shear drill attachment. It's still good FYI.

Thanks for sharing, but I have a welding machine, drilling as much many people, and an angle grinder. You do have much much more tools. Simple things with the simple tools are much more easy for us.

Он был бы простым, если бы для его изготовления не потребовался токарный станок, это раз. Он нужен если гнуть такие заготовки в больших количествах, это два. А десяток таких колец из полосы, тем более такой толщины на раз два в тисах на трубе с упором.

Aside from the fact that I don't own or have access to a lathe, the cost of bearings and stock metal would be more than I could justify for a tool that I might use once a year. MIGHT. But if you're into making wooden buckets and need bands to bind them, this'll put you right in business.👍
