It is so good to hear someone as young as Veronica Hardy still referencing Bruce Lee's influence on her martial arts & outlooks. I still remember as a boy entering into his early teens, watching Lee's movies, in the late 1970s... just a few years after his death in 1974. Must have hit my head a few times, trying to do the nun chuck, especially with two at the same time, as Lee effortlessly did it, in mesmerizing CHOREOGRAPHY in the early 1970s, before anyone had ever tried realistic fighting choreography in fighting sequences... It wasn't until I started watching MMA that I realize why Dana White, Conor, Izzy, Wonderboy, and all kinds of different actual elite fighters and business promoters in combat sports still have Bruce Lee's wallpapers all over in their offices and gyms and bedrooms! The greatest martial artist of all time, Uncle Chael Sonnen may be right: Bruce Lee was never a real fighter or, at least, never was a professional athlete; but the dude introduced both theoretical underpinning & practical moves for MMA, some 25 years before its actual birth in the 1990s. The wrestling and BJJ submission Bruce Lee choreographed, in that Game of Death sequences of fight against his friend & student, the 6'9" Kareem Ab-dul Jeebar, 1972.... it's still so relevant today... especially in MMA.... Bruce Lee has influenced many generations of martial artists and students...

I had no idea about her story. Wild.

Dan hardy is the man and I have always been a huge fan of hes. He was the first real fighter to me, a Diaz caliber human to me.
