Verla Groundwood & Board Mill - UNESCO World Heritage Site

Verla Groundwood and Board Mill is an interesting UNESCO World Heritage Site in Finland. It's an old timber processing factory where lumber from Finland's plentiful forests was pulped and eventually turned into sheets of cardboard for exporting overseas. It was set up during the Russian Empire period of Finland's history, and the story here makes for fascinating viewing. Check it out!

Thanks! Finland is definitely under-represented I think which is a real shame, there's some fascinating stuff there!
