Gondwana Rainforests of Australia - UNESCO World Heritage Site
The Gondwana Rainforests of Australia UNESCO World Heritage site covers a series of 51 national parks and nature reserves in eastern Australia. The 300,000+ hectares of this World Heritage Site includes most of Australia's remaining rainforest. And there's all sorts of rainforest here: subtropical, alpine, littoral, temperate, and more. It's just such a beautiful environment with a variety of trees, shrubs, vines, mosses, and waterfalls, plus of course some iconically Australian animals. For our visit we headed to several different areas, including Oxley-Wild Rivers National Park, Dorrigo National Park, New England National Park, Nightcap National Park, and Iluka Nature Reserve. Let's check it out!

Beautiful
Jay Gondwana 🌈🌈
Gondwana name comes from the "Gond" tribe. They live in gondwana land. 🇦🇺 But now they divided by tectonic plate activity.
Very nice Gondwana
Great
Cool video. I really want to visit Australia one day mainly because of its wildlife and exotic wilderness. It’s one of the two countries I would like to visit the most along with Canada.

We are based in Sydney, and this is a 1.5 day drive. But very worth it. I love nature and rainforests have always facilitated me. Once my twins are a bit older, this would be an awesome adventure.

Love your videos, especially this one from Joel's own 'neck of the woods'! Watched dozens of your posts to kill boredom during this Corona Inquisition! May you both travel overseas soon! Cheers from D & J in Singapore!

Thanks so much, and thank you both for watching 👍 We are both definitely itching to get back overseas, but I don't think it's likely to be this year sadly. Hoping to see the last remaining Sites on the Australian mainland in the coming months which will be nice. Thanks 👍😎

Yep, Australia is home to some stunning natural wonders! The waterfall is Minyon Falls in Nightcap National Park 👍 Thanks for watching!
Really well made video, and it is so sad about the fires. One thing that was a little annoying though was every time you spoke there was an irritating white noise coming through too, I’ve not heard it in any of your other vids but it made it so hard to concentrate :(

Hmm that's strange, I typically run a noise removal tool on VO clips which should remove that stuff, not sure why it didn't this time! And yes it's definitely sad about the fires - the bush recovers pretty quickly, but animal populations take years to rebound. Thanks for watching!

It definitely is beautiful! But unfortunately not - buildings aren't permitted in national parks here in Australia, and the rules about them are pretty strict, especially since it's World Heritage too. Thanks for watching! 👍
