i'm sure the state makes 10's of thousands on bottles that never get returned.

why dont they ad the 10 cent deposit for washington so there wont be a problem with the refund in oregon.

Why don't you outlaw marijuana so that Idaho doesn't have a problem with people using it illegally in their state? See how that works? BTW, I'm in favor or legalization. My point is that another state doesn't have the duty amend its laws for the benefit of its neighboring states that may have different beliefs or cultures.

So if you have a rental car with Washington plates, it’s illegal to redeem something that is paid for in Oregon... Sounds like targeting the unlikely of people.

Only return Cans and Bottles if you live in Oregon, Grocery Stores limited to 144 worth $14.40 and Bottle Drop limited to 350 worth $35.00

Make the deposit a federal thing. Then literally everyone would recycle

Remember when we had local bottlers and the containers were returned and used over and over?.. well that’s gone, and now massive corporations located in some far away city control all the business and the money.
