@@speeder_106 actually it’s when a buildup in greenhouse gasses like carbon causes the temperature to heat up. This can sometimes happen very rapidly and become irreversible. This is a runaway greenhouse effect and that’s what happened on venus

I call Venus a mini-mini hot Neptune because it’s has an atmosphere almost 100 times thicker than Earth’s which still pales in comparison to the gas and ice giants. Also, Venus has went pass the temperature for glowing (850 F or 454.4 C) so, it’s glowing a very slight maroon and red color but most of its light is in infrared light. :)

It’s not a fact that it was inhabited, but it had water, an atmosphere and a normal temperature. This all arose the same way as on earth.

Venus could not have water. А lot of gases are dissolved in magma and trap volcanism is still going on on Venus. Since the protoearth collided with Thea, the magma was sufficiently ventilated that we do not have such a terrible volcanism. And this is one of the conditions for a habitable planet
