Venom Sport Bike Lift Stands Review and Demonstration on FZ-09

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Today I go over my new track stand (spool stands) that I got for my 2014 Yamaha FZ-09. These stands are Venom Sport Bike Track Stands and are an economical way to lift your street bike off the ground for maintenance. Also I show a quick and easy DIY way to make spools for your pre-drilled and tapped swingarm.

Just bought a set of these exact stands .. I noticed on mine that the clips that hold wheels on were stretched when it was assembled. One wheel actually came off while the stands were in use. I recommend to squeeze each clip to make sure they are secured or replace them with some better quality clips. The stands work decent a little flexible and would have liked the front stand to be welded instead of stamped together where the support pins under the forks are located.

What hole did you put the pin in to set width of the front fork stands. 1 hole would be smallest width and third hole would be biggest width.

thanks for your review. I purchased a set second hand from a friend, and just wanted to see if there was any particular technique or procedure to using them.

Yvan1850 That's definitely a possibility way to improve the status sturdiness. So far they have been holding well, no welding no locktight needed

Efren I haven't had a problem with then so far, from getting on and off the bike, to running it on the stands (not recommended by the stand manufacturer for safety reasons) but shows the kind of bang for the buck these offer. Thanks for watching!

Pro tip Stand on the side opposite of the kickstand This way if your bike decide decides to have a nap on it's side you're not trying to catch it with your cock beater Luckily my dick beater gets enough use I can practically lift the bike one hand
