My only problem with this Carnage is he is different in personality between Carnage and Kasedy. In the comics, Cletus and Carnage are more bonded than Eddie and Venom, while those two bonded and regarded as equals, Carnage and Kasedy bonded in mind, body and soul. That’s why they never say WE are Carnage. Always I. Cletus rarely fought against his Symbiote, and even some actions where he struck at Shriek, was also from Kasedy’s doing as he doesn’t want anything to get in his way or make him vulnerable. He is a psychopath, and in the comics he made that perfectly clear to Shriek. Loves her but will not hesitate to kill her if she pisses him off.

These Sony hacks don’t know, care or understand the first thing about the symbiotes and how they roll. Venom doesn’t even change Eddie really, they’re just two separate people stuck together.

To be fair there actually have been instances where Carnage and Cletus were two separate minds, such as in the Venom VS Carnage storyline where Toxin was born. During that run, Carnage spoke as a different entity than Cletus, even arguing with Cletus at one point over their failure to kill Toxin. Likewise Venom in that comics was speaking as the Symbiote, not as Eddie Brock. It's implied that Eddie and Cletus just took a backseat during that story, as the Symbiotes had "family drama" to work through. Also in the 90s Animated Series it was Mordo who gave Cletus the offspring of Venom and we see the Carnage Symbiote manifest before him before bonding with him. And in recent comics, post Absolute Carnage, the Carnage Symbiote has developed a mind of its own and doesn't even need Kassidy anymore.

The movie should respect the comics. It just felt like corporate tried to make the movie more family friendly. Carnage is truly a Horrific villain that didn’t get the portrayal he deserved.

It’s so disappointing that they basically made her look like a pirates of the Caribbean character.

Having things pass through Carnage makes no sense until you realize that there's only one way it does make sense -- Carnage is literally ripping holes in Cletus' body and healing them as needed.

Venom was actually doing good in the start of the fight

This movie had so much potential and my expectations were wayyyy too high. Carnage is not Carnage in this movie. He's not nearly psychotic enough and he's not even the least bit intimidating. I can accept Carnage being taller than Venom, but what I can't accept is how whimpy Cletus is, I mean dude was absolutely ruthless in the comics. Also Carnage should be saying I instead of we and Cassidy had absolutely full control over his symbiote.

@@m.bition3769 I mean movies don't exactly have to be accurate per se, but when u take a good character and change practically everything about it as opposed to its source material then you can expect for audiences to criticize it and if one like me does then you didn't do a very good job at making the character cool or anything. If ur gonna change stuff then u gotta make sure they're good changes. Since u gave me advice ima give u some, people judge, criticize and expect accuracy especially if it were through childhood, appreciate fans that do let out their voice because they tend to make movie creators think about their decisions in many cases for better future films.

One of the coolest things I noticed in this movie is the very subtle difference in the way they both change. Eddie and Venom switch like Eddie is pulling on a suit, because they have a symbiotic relationship. Two entities living as one and sharing a body. But Cletus and Carnage don't do that. If you watch, you'll notice Cletus' face pulls and morphs, because Carnage ISN'T a separate entity. He's literally a mutation with a mind of its own, so even the way they "switch" is more of an organic way. Very cool ^.^

If carnage voice was higher it would have been so much better

Venom voice I don’t mind, I’m used to it and it works but no idea why but it sounded better in the first Venom movie but Carnage was so bland, like he should of been higher pitched with a demonic ‘Evil Dead Deadite’ kinda sound, it would of worked so much better and made him sound much more creepy and psychotic.

I saw concept art of the film(on artstation) and boy, they really wanted this to be an R rated movie, especially with the alternate take on the prison break scene and the alternate final battle with Uber Carnage. They even conceptualized a more classic design of movie Carnage with the black teach and bioluminescence from the ultimate comics.

Spider-Man is more experienced. Venom just copied Spider-Man powers but enhanced them further, so he is stronger and faster. Spidery is not a pushover though, he can lift 50 tons of weight in the comics. On par with the Asgardians

Carnage was/is my favourite comic character ever. They messed it up bad. He was so badass he took over spiderman and almost destroyed the entire multiverse! Including himself.The only way to stop him was to make him choose good over evil! Not this crap.

How many versions of carnage are there tho? Pretty sure if it’s a comic where he’s a multiversal threat would not even be possible in this setting. It sucks that it’s not resembling the version you’d want to see but I barely remember him from the cartoon and this is more in line with that lvl than the one from the comic *that every character has* where the writers let them kill everyone.

I feel sorry for the bride. Wanted to see her more
