Can we acknowledge how much Venom allows Eddie to control his own body? Venom could transform anytime he wanted, and force Eddie to do literally anything. But instead, he allows Eddie as the host to remain in control until needed. Even when the SWAT Team had guns ready, Venom waited for Eddie word. That's teamwork, and makes Venom as a Parasite a lot less scary.

@@DrizzyEddie Venom is still in Sony's Spider-man Universe, he's just crossing over into the MCU - to most likely appear in the post-credits scene of No Way Home, which will lead set up Venom 3. A character crossing over does not equate to them being in one universe or another. It's just like Vulture crossing over into Morbius, which is also in Sony's universe.

The SWAT was pretty badass honestly they adapted to his climate real quick when they threw flashbangs seeing that loud disorienting noises were hurt or affect venom And when the rifles were taken away from those officers they started to draw their pistols. Pretty good on the SWAT members side

or maybe something can be an entertaining product but not a good film objectively speaking? nobody ever dunked on the comedy or action but compared to even spiderman 3 the dialogue was just goofy and camp. You can enjoy it but don't play it off like its a masterpiece or like critics were wrong to be critical of it, especially when the advertising was false.

The purpose of training is to turn specific actions into muscle memory so you don't have to think about what you're doing - it becomes instinct/reflex so that you do it even while you're terrified. That said, there is no way in hell that they were trained for the possibility of a giant, black goo alien disarming all of them simultaneously.

There were definitely flaws, the bike action scene was rather long, the humor wasn’t always good, some cliche scenes and other critiques I’m sure. But honestly this is a good thing cause they know what the audience wants and what critics are looking for so while this movie was a C- the next has high potential to be B+ especially with it’s great cast and the nice flow it had once venom was finally established. (I personally loved the movie btw)

This is quite possibly the best scene in the movie. This shows Venom’s badass and silent predatory aspect, which makes him such a deadly opponent. Venom comes from the fangs of a snake, and snakes are silent and are known for being stealth. Venom 2 flopped harder than I expected due to very excessive comedy and corny dialogue, but this scene gives me hope for anything Venom related.

3:34 is ths coolest cinematography I've seen in awhile.

3:43 If Venom wasn't PG-13 this scene would have been so brutal. Imagine all the blood and body parts coming off that guy.

Of all the live action comic book movies from 2018, this one was the only one that actually tried something really different; the Horror comedy monster movie approach really paid off in my opinion. That being said, this really should have been rated R.

ye lol but it was downgraded still, in real life if venom came to earth they would use more anti tank weapons and might even get the military involved and they would find out eventually that sound is it's weakness and use a LRAD sonic sound weapon which can go up to 200 decibels and have u heard about Russia's new laser tank? trust venom wouldn't stand a chance against earth our scientists would go ham on the tests.

They could have done so much more, especially with the cast. Venom dialogues were horrible, they tried to add some jokes in it that were clearly not working. Its a shame cause i really had some high expectations.

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING

What makes this scene so good is that SWAT team wasn't incompetent. They shot immediately when Venom transformed. Threw flash grenades accurately, never shot their own, and finds Venoms location rather fast. It makes Venom's victory much more worthy.

SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE SECOND MOVIE

Just imagine how much better it would have been if it the film had the R ratting.

Can’t believe critics gave this movie a bad rep. This movie is fire

I will never get tired of looking at the venom created in this movie! The CGI character is everything I wanted to see in the symbiotes!

The elevator scene is amazing, but I really like when Eddie copies the Swat guys, and Venom is 100% into it, “copy” simple, short, and fitting for their characters.

I like the swat team in this, unlike other movies they actually have plans and backup plans to their backup plans, even though they kept getting thrown around they still tried to do something😊

I loved this movie so much, and I still love it
