We tried the recipe to the dot, followed all the steps and the output is as he said in his video, excellent. We made in during the weekend get together and all the people, most of them tasted it for the first time and fell in love with the dish and asked for the recipe. Hats off Chef Bhat.
I did this combination today for our Sunday breakfast. I came out so good. Only the color was not that much yellowish, bit of brownish. But taste was so good and my 86 year old father had and gave me A1+ grading... So I am passing it on to you. Thank you so much for sharing.
I am watching this again and prepared it again. It's awesome
The man is so passionate about cooking and teaching it to us.

Excellent recipe... I have a request... plz give the measurements which serves 4... It will be useful for beginners to follow... They can't do it in large quantities in their first attempt... experienced people can adjust their measurements accordingly... Just a request:)

Nostalgic sir. Am from West Mambalam. Saidapet Mari Hotel vadacurry is very famous. Next is vani Mahal Sundal vadai and Bonda and milagai bajji. Bhat sir those who tasted and enjoyed only could understand the feelings. Every Saturday evening we go to vani Mahal as a family and used to enjoy it. One more place is Brilliant Tutorial nearby onion ghee podi dosai. Coming to today's recipe ....What should I say.....Appappappa...adadadadaaaa.....

I have never liked vada curry... But since its your recipe tried it out.. it came out very nicely.. my hubby is a foodie.. he has tasted vada curry many places.. but he said nothing has come as good as this one... Credits to u Sir. I will share photos with you on insta.. ❤️

I've seen many vada curry recipes but none of them have made a ground paste. They saute garam masala, onion, ginger garlic paste, tomato, coriander powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, then ground coconut and add vada. It's like making any other simple gravy. Ur recipe is promising.
Made this kolumbu today without the vadai. It turned out so well. I served it with piping hot idlis. Quite a hit! Thank you so much for the wonderful recipe. Will try the vadai bit next time.
