What a showman he was. Such a stage presence. Some of his movements/mannerisms put me in mind of Jagger on stage.

I was fortunate enough to have been able to see VR and Audioslave back in the day when I was a teenager. What an amazing time for rock and roll. Thankful to have been a part of it.

Yeah I saw VR at Braxton academy which was awesome as small venue. Arena gigs suck. They were REALLY late on though…

1971 was an amazing time for rock-n-roll, 1978 was a great time for rock-n-roll, 1981 was a great time for rock-n-roll. So was when Slashes other band released their debut Lp. but this, this is just good rock, like twisted sister was good rock. Heck, Social Distortion would've headlined any show this band was luckily enough to share with them.

Wish I could've seen this band live. Rip Scott. 🙏

​@@arsonne that's probably because it was a battle to get Scott to show up to rehearsals. He'd often leave the band waiting several hours and sometimes not even show. That would kill the fun, no doubt.

RIP Scott. Saw their first ever UK show at Hammersmith Apollo. Only time I ever got to see him live. Great performer and live vocalist. Such a shame.

Weiland one part Jagger, two parts singer guy from the Scorpions, 3/4 part snake, rest is all scowl & attitude. Loved that guy.

@@jimtobakos1933 Might be something up with his monitoring, but yeah, he had better days. Up until sometime after 2000 he was pretty much always pitch perfect, the House Of Blues concerts in 1999 and 2000 blows my mind.

I saw Velvet Revolver live in 2005 or 2006, and it was a great show. They even played a couple of Stone Temple Pilots and Guns N Roses songs, which was cool.

i've been looking all around to see if anyone has the full version of their show. i thought the MTV version would have more but it pretty much follows the same broadcasted setlist. only thing is it at least shows the band coming on stage, and it ends in (set me free) and skips to the last note of Slither. so what you got is pretty much it. my only guess is Rockpalast might've been a bit selective on how much of a certain show of a certain band they're able to broadcast. i don't know. i think it was a bit of the same when i was watching clips of 3 Doors Down @ Rock AM Ring 2011/2012 (cant remember) and they showed a handful of songs they played and that's it.

Sometimes bands didn't want some songs to be aired since they weren't happy with the performance. But it's hard to know if that is the case here. Rockpalast often broadcast full shows, but not always.

Slightly higher during this performance no doubt. Bugging eyes and a different voice in Slither- but holds it together unlike any other - a true talent.

I was listening to The Violet Femmes when someone gave me that album Appetite.....it was before any videos came out.....I was a skater my first year in a private school.....

Yeah, I wish someone would’ve given him a serious “history lesson.”

Shows what people can do when properly motivated. Weiland had something to prove with STP. Duff and Slash had something to prove with GNR. This explains why it all fell apart after being successful.

It was from a DVD. We had it. Man it was a long time ago but I believe it came in the collectors edition of the Libertad CD.
