is it good to have both? BOV and side of engine? also! do they use the same connector?

at engine start does yours constantly click? even at idle?

Where is the stock location of the solenoid? I just ordered the Mac Solenoid from sxth yesterday.

It's under the throttle body hose once you remove that it will be located below it on the intercooler Also if you follow the the vac hose off the manifold or the deverter it will lead you to it. (That's for the blow off side ) on the turbo side it sits low and kind of back behind belts towards the fire wall be careful with that one it will break easily

so wait the Mac solenoid that you had on the block off valve you now put it over on the turbo side and put the stock solenoid back on for the bov? Or are you now running to Mac solenoids? I had my Mac solenoid on the bov side and it caused me to have p2261 and p0033 codes not sure if that's fully related but I have since put it back to stock and now I don't have those codes.

Yes I moved it over to the turbo side and put the factory one back on the blow off side it stopped the fluttering from the aftermarket blowoff (no codes) been that way since this video (do not block off it will go into limp mode. The setup is in the comments I had with Tony ngo

91gtz Hey man did yoyb ever figure out the p0033 code? I'm not running the mac solenoid or any other, still using the stock solenoids and this popped up and my BOV isn't working anymore. I can't find what's causing The issue hoping you solved it!

@@Theslowsquid sorry, I went back to stock and cleared the codes, they never came back.

Hey man I tried doing this but the Mac bov I tried to plug into the wastegate port was different so it couldn’t fit, did you have this issue? The only way was to dremel the outer casing of the port from the Mac bov so it could fit, but I believe my car is in limp mode from it cause I have no boost now

No sir I didn't run into any issues with the install I bought the fittings from hardware store took the hoses.and the mac valve with me

Also make sure you plugged everything back in its proper location

May I ask what year and what are you trying to do with the Mac valve? don't cut ports off yet

it's better if you could get under the car for the installation and use hoses for ports you can take original hoses to auto part store and grab some similar to it you'll have to use clamps i found some tha fit at the hardware store as well

Are you able to tell what wires from the MAC go the wires to the car since they are black?

It does not matter but I used the one with the writing on it as positive DONT BLOCK OFF vent to air after a few drives it went into limp mode

Do not block one off just leave vent to air. If you block one off on the mack you will hit to much boost and go in to limp mode. I know I did and it scared the shit out of me thought I blew up the turbo. Hit that sub/like for me thank you.
